OPA = 30. Find ACB and ADB,
respectively.

2. Diagonal AC of a rectangle ABCD is produced to the point E such that AC : CE = 2 : 1. AB = 8 cm and

BC = 6 cm. Find the length of DE.

3. P, Q and R are on AB, BC and AC of the equilateral triangle ABC, respectively. AP : PB  CQ : QB =

1 : 2. G is the centroid of the triangle PQB and R is the mid-point of AC. Find BG : GR.

4. In the given figure (not to scale), two circles C 1

and C2 intersect at S and Q. PQN and RQM are
tangents drawn to C1 and C2, respectively, at Q.
MAB and ABN are the chords of the circles C 1
and C2. If NQR = 85, then find AQB.

5. In the following figure, (not to scale), AB is the

common tangent to the circles C 1 and C2. C1 and
C2 are touching externally at C. AD and DC are
two chords of the circle C1 and BE and CE are
two chords of the circle C2. Find the measure of
ADC + BEC.

6. ABC is a triangle in which B = 2C. D is a point on BC such that AD bisects BAC and
AB = CD. Prove that BAC = 72.

7. In ABC, AD  BC. If DC > DB, then prove that AC > AB.

8. In a triangle ABC, points D and E respectively divide the sides BC and CA in the ratio = m, and

= n. The segments AD and BE intersect in a point X. Find the ratio .

9. In the figure ABCD is a square. E is the mid-point of CB. AF is drawn perpendicular to DE. If side of
the square is 2017 cm find the length of FB in cm.

10. Let ABCD be a rectangle such that BC = 3AB. P and Q are points on the side BC such that
BP = PQ = CQ. Using geometrical or triangometrical relations or otherwise show that
DBC + DPC = DQC.
