2. How should you write your subject line? Why?
Write the subject line so that you can:
- Attracts your reader’s attention.
- Provides a specific, meaningful, and precise description of your subject.

- Organize your ideas in short paragraphs (3 – 5 sentences)
- Separating paragraphs by one blank space.

8. Nếu chúng tôi không nhận được các linh kiện này trong vòng 10 ngày nữa
khách hàng của chúng tôi sẽ hủy đơn hàng và đặt ở nơi khác, và nếu xảy ra
bất kỳ thiệt hại nào do việc giao hàng chậm trễ chúng tôi sẽ buộc phải có
những hành động về pháp lý.

If we do not receive the accessories within the next 10 days, our customer will
cancel the order and place it elsewhere, and if there is any damage as a result of
this late delivery we shall be obligated to take legal action.

9. Hàng theo đơn đặt hàng trên đang cần gấp. Vì vậy, chúng tôi mong các
ngài giao theo hình thức chuyển phát nhanh.

The above order is urgently needed; therefore we must insist upon express
shipment.

10. Chúng tôi không hài lòng với lô hàng này vì chất lượng kém đến mức
không thích hợp với yêu cầu của thị trường nữa.

This lot of goods has not been up to our satisfaction. The quality is so poor that it
is unsuitable for the requirements of this market.

11. Số hàng 1,000 tấn xi măng giao theo hợp đồng mua bán số HD4507/12
được đóng trong 3 container 20 feet chở trên tàu Orient đến cảng Hải Phòng
ngày 10 tháng 4.

The consignment of 100 tons of cement under the sales contract No. HD4507/12
packed in three 20-feet containers, shipped on board the MV/SS Orient, arrived
at Hai Phong port on 10 April.

12. Chúng tôi đã gửi bằng bưu kiện hàng loạt mẫu thảm làm bằng các nguyên
liệu khác nhau, kế cả bằng sợi tổng hợp.

We have already sent you by parcel post a range of rug samples which are made
of different materials, including synthetic fiber.

13. Chúng tôi cần giao hàng nhanh vì chúng tôi có sự luân chuyển hàng liên
tục. Do đó chúng tôi cần các ngài đảm bảo là lúc nào cũng giao đúng hạn.

Prompt delivery would be necessary as we have a rapid turnover. We would


therefore need your assurance that you could meet all delivery dates.

14. Chúng tôi muốn lưu ý rằng cần phải giao hàng trước Giáng Sinh và hy

We have arranged for the consignment of computers to be send to Tilbury for


loading onto the Northern Cross, which sails for New Zealand on 8 April.

17. Xin gửi kèm phiếu gửi hàng chuẩn và vận đơn (6 bản), trong đó 4 bản
phải ký và gửi lại chúng tôi.

Enclosed you will find the completed standard shipping note and bill of lading (6
copies), 4 copies of which could be signed and returned to us.

18. Lô hàng đó sẽ đến cảng Sài Gòn ngày 4/12 được chở trên tàu M.V. Orient
khởi hành từ Luân đôn ngày 25/11.

The consignment is arriving at Saigon port on 4 th December on the M.V. Orient


which sailed from London on 25th November.

19. Đề nghị gửi hàng bằng đường bộ tới cảng Sài Gòn để chuyên chở bằng
tàu AB, sẽ khởi hành đi London ngày 25/3, sẽ bốc hàng tại bến số 5 từ ngày
20 đến 24.

Please arrange to send the consignment by road to Saigon port to be shipped by


the SS AB, due to sail for London on 25 March and to load at No 5 Dock from 20
to 24 Nov.

nhận được lô hàng đồ nội thất, cụ thể là 600 bàn trang điểm (dressing table)
đóng trong 1 công ten nơ theo đơn hàng số 1695 chở trên tàu Elizabeth cập
cảng Hải Phòng ngày hôm qua từ Công ty TNHH Homemakers, địa chỉ 54-59,
Đường Riverside, Cardiff, Wales.

Khi kiểm tra hàng hóa dưới sự giám sát của đại diện của Cơ quan giám định
hàng hóa Vinacontrol và Hải Quan Hải Phòng phát hiện thấy có 120 thùng
carton bên trong là 120 bàn trang điểm bằng gỗ mahogany (mahogany-
finished), không có trong đơn hàng. Do khách hàng của chúng tôi là những
người có thu nhập trung bình và sống trong những căn hộ không quá sang trọng
nên việc bán những sản phẩm đắt tiền như gỗ mahohany là không thể đối với
chúng tôi.

Chúng tôi xin đề xuất các phương án giải quyết như sau:

+ Đề nghị chuyển gấp 120 bàn trang điểm bằng gỗ thông (pine-finish) để chúng
tôi kịp giao hàng cho khách hàng của chúng tôi, vì đây là mùa cao điểm để tổ
chức cưới và chuyển nhà trước Tết Nguyên Đán, một dịp vô cùng quan trọng
của người Việt Nam.

+ Xin gửi trả lại toàn bộ lô hàng 120 bàn trang điểm bằng gỗ mahogany bị gửi
nhầm, chi phí và rủi ro Công ty TNHH Homemakers phải chịu.

Chúng tôi xin gửi kèm Biên bản giám định của VinaControl Hải Phòng để làm
bằng chứng.

We received the consignment of dressing tables shipped by MS. Elizabeth


steamship arriving at Haiphong port on 13 February 2022. However, the
delivery consisted of one hundred and twenty mahogany-finished dressing
tables instead of the pine-finished articles asked for.

Our customers have average incomes and live in moderate apartments, making
it impossible for us to sell expensive items like mahogany-finished dressing
table.

We suggest the following solutions to this problem:

- Prompt delivery 120 pine-finish dressing tables is necessary for us to ship


to our customers in time as this is the peak season for weddings and moving
houses before Vietnamese Lunar New Year, which is an extremely
important occasion in Vietnam.
- We would like to return total wrong-delivery items at your expenses.
