Rihaai (Nukkad Natak)

Description: Rihaai (Nukkad Natak) is an event that brings the power of street plays to life,
engaging the audience directly with a mix of humor, drama, and raw emotion. Through loud
chants, rhythmic beats, and catchy songs, performers will spread awareness on pressing social
and political issues, ensuring that every shout resonates with the masses.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Performance Rules:
o The play can be performed in either English or Hindi.
o Maximum team size: 20 members.
o Each college can send up to two entries (one in English and one in Hindi).
o Time limit: 15 to 20 minutes. Negative points for exceeding or not reaching the
time limit.
2. Performance Setup:
o Microphones, lights, and speakers are not allowed.
o No props will be provided by us, you have to bring your own props.
o Props: Teams may use props, but prior approval from the coordinator is
mandatory. Points will be deducted for unauthorized use of props.
3. Judging Criteria:
o Performances will be judged on creativity, delivery, relevance to the theme, and
adherence to the rules.
o Points will be deducted for exceeding or not reaching the time limit, vulgarity
or improper use of props.
4. Post-Performance Introduction:
o An introduction of team members is mandatory after the play but is not included
in the time limit.

Registration fee per team: ₹1800

Winning Prize: upto Rs.12000 fluctuates on the number of participations.

StageCraft: Solo Monologue & Impromptu Showdown

Description: StageCraft: Solo Monologue & Impromptu Showdown is an event that


challenges participants to showcase their creativity, quick thinking, and performance skills. In
the first part, performers will present a pre-prepared monologue, capturing emotions and
captivating the audience with just their voice, gestures, and minimal props. In the second part,
participants will dive into an exciting impromptu round, where their ability to think and perform
spontaneously will be put to the test. It's a thrilling journey of self-expression and live creativity!

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Round 1: Monologue Performance:


o Each participant will perform a monologue of their choice within 10 minutes.
o The monologue can be delivered in English or Hindi.
o Performances will be judged based on expression, creativity, voice modulation,
no. of emotions and engagement.
o You have to bring your own props if required.
o Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
2. Round 2: Impromptu Props Performance:
o In this surprise round, participants will be handed random props.
o Participants will get 2 minutes to think and prepare, followed by a 3 minute
performance using the prop.
o The act should revolve around the prop and demonstrate spontaneity, creativity,
and resourcefulness.
o The details of this round will not be revealed until the day of the event.
3. Judging Criteria:
o Participants will be judged on creativity, delivery, expression, and use of the
prop.
o Both rounds will be evaluated, and the combined scores will determine the
winners.
4. Post-Performance Introduction:
o A brief introduction of the participant is mandatory after the performance but will
not be counted in the time limit.

Registration fee per person: ₹300

Winning Prize: upto Rs.6000 fluctuates on the number of participants.
