As part of my CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experience, I decided to learn German. I was
motivated by my interest in languages, cultural exploration, and the opportunity to challenge
myself with something outside my comfort zone. Learning German has been a rewarding
journey that has allowed me to develop my communication skills, patience, and perseverance.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was mastering German pronunciation and grammar. The
language has complex grammatical structures, such as noun cases and word order, which were
difficult to grasp at first. To overcome this, I used a combination of online resources, language
apps, and conversation practice with native speakers. I also set small, achievable goals, such as
learning five new words each day, which helped me stay motivated and track my progress.
Through this experience, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the German language and
culture. I developed resilience by pushing through difficult lessons and embracing mistakes as
part of the learning process. Additionally, I improved my problem-solving skills by identifying the
most effective learning methods for myself. My confidence in speaking a new language has also
grown, and I have learned to step out of my comfort zone to engage in conversations, even if
they are not perfect.
Learning German has broadened my perspective and strengthened my global awareness. I now
have a better understanding of German culture, history, and traditions, which has deepened my
appreciation for diversity. Moving forward, I plan to continue my studies by enrolling in a
structured language course and seeking opportunities to converse with native speakers. I hope
to eventually travel to Germany and immerse myself in the language firsthand.
This CAS experience has been both challenging and enriching. It has taught me discipline,
adaptability, and the value of perseverance. Learning a new language is a lifelong journey, and I
am excited to continue developing my skills in German. This experience has reinforced my belief
in the importance of cultural exchange and lifelong learning.
Photography club
As part of my CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experience, I decided to join a photography club.
My motivation stemmed from a deep interest in visual storytelling and the desire to develop my
technical and creative skills in photography. This experience has allowed me to explore different
aspects of photography, including composition, lighting, and post-processing, while also
collaborating with others who share my passion.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was learning to use a manual camera effectively.
Understanding exposure settings such as ISO, shutter speed, and aperture required practice and
patience. To overcome this, I attended workshops, watched online tutorials, and experimented
with different camera settings. Another challenge was developing confidence in photographing
people and events. Engaging with subjects and capturing moments in a compelling way took
time, but through practice and feedback from my peers, I improved my approach.
Through my participation in the photography club, I have developed a greater appreciation for
visual storytelling and artistic expression. I learned to be more observant, paying attention to
details, lighting, and composition. Additionally, collaborating with other members of the club
has improved my teamwork and communication skills. The experience also strengthened my
problem-solving abilities, as I often had to adapt to different lighting conditions and unexpected
scenarios while shooting.
Being part of the photography club has expanded my creativity and encouraged me to think
more critically about the stories I want to tell through images. My work has been featured in
school exhibitions, and I have contributed to documenting various school events. Moving
forward, I plan to continue refining my photography skills, experimenting with new techniques,
and possibly creating a portfolio. I also hope to use photography as a means to engage in
community service, capturing meaningful moments that can bring awareness to important
causes.
This CAS experience has been an enriching and fulfilling journey. It has allowed me to step out
of my comfort zone, improve my technical and artistic skills, and gain confidence in my abilities.
Photography is more than just taking pictures; it is about capturing emotions, telling stories, and
preserving memories. I look forward to continuing my growth in this field and using my skills to
make a positive impact.
Medical Internship in Tchad

Introduction
As part of my CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experience, I had the incredible opportunity to
participate in a medical internship in Tchad. This experience was both eye-opening and
transformative, as I was able to gain firsthand exposure to the medical field at a young age. One
of the most remarkable aspects of my internship was attending a cesarean section, an experience
that deepened my understanding of surgical procedures and maternal healthcare.
Being in a hospital environment at my age and level of education was initially intimidating. I
faced challenges in understanding medical terminology, procedures, and the high-pressure
environment of an operating room. To overcome these difficulties, I actively asked questions,
took notes, and observed attentively. The medical staff was supportive and willing to explain
procedures, which helped me feel more confident and engaged in the learning process.
Through this experience, I gained a profound respect for healthcare professionals and the
immense responsibility they carry. Witnessing a cesarean section reinforced my interest in
medicine and allowed me to appreciate the complexity and precision required in surgical
interventions. Additionally, I developed adaptability, resilience, and a greater ability to handle
intense situations. I also learned the importance of teamwork and clear communication in a
medical setting.
This internship has significantly influenced my aspirations and solidified my interest in pursuing
a career in medicine. I now have a clearer understanding of the dedication and knowledge
required to become a healthcare professional. Moving forward, I plan to further explore the
medical field by gaining more clinical experience, studying medical sciences, and engaging in
research opportunities. I am also inspired to contribute to healthcare initiatives, particularly in
regions with limited medical resources.
My medical internship in Tchad was an invaluable experience that provided me with insight into
the realities of the medical profession. Attending a cesarean section at this stage of my education
was both a privilege and a motivation to continue pursuing my passion for medicine. This CAS
experience has strengthened my commitment to lifelong learning, service, and making a
meaningful impact in the healthcare field.
Movie night

As part of my CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experience, my friends and I organized and
participated in a movie night event. This initiative was driven by our shared interest in bringing
people together, fostering social interactions, and providing a fun and engaging activity for our
peers. Planning and executing the event required teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
skills.
One of the primary challenges was selecting a movie that would appeal to a diverse audience.
To address this, we conducted a quick survey among participants to gauge their interests.
Another challenge was setting up the technical aspects, such as ensuring proper audio and
video quality. By testing the equipment beforehand and arranging backup options, we managed
to avoid any major issues on the event night.
Through this experience, we learned the importance of organization and effective
communication. Coordinating with peers, managing logistics, and promoting the event helped
us develop leadership skills. Additionally, we gained problem-solving abilities by adapting to
unexpected challenges, such as last-minute venue changes and technical difficulties.
The movie night successfully created an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere, strengthening social
bonds among attendees. Seeing the positive feedback and enthusiasm from participants
motivated us to organize similar events in the future. Moving forward, we aim to enhance
future movie nights by incorporating interactive elements such as themed discussions or trivia
games.
Organizing a movie night as part of our CAS experience was both fun and educational. It allowed
us to apply creativity and leadership while fostering a sense of community. This experience has
reinforced our belief in the value of shared activities in bringing people together and has
inspired us to continue planning inclusive and engaging events.
Visit to Orphanage

Visiting an orphanage was a profound and emotional experience. As part of our CAS service
initiative, we spent time with children, providing companionship, engaging in activities, and
donating essential supplies. This visit was an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the
lives of children who have faced significant hardships while also allowing us to grow as
individuals. The experience was both heartwarming and eye-opening, reinforcing the importance
of empathy and social responsibility.
Interacting with children who have faced adversity required a great deal of empathy and
patience. Many of the children were initially reserved, hesitant to interact, and reluctant to trust
new visitors. However, through various activities such as games, storytelling, and shared meals,
we were able to build strong connections and earn their trust. Witnessing their transformation
from shy individuals to joyful participants in our activities was incredibly rewarding.

In addition to emotional challenges, we also faced logistical difficulties in organizing donations

and coordinating with the orphanage. Ensuring that we provided essential and suitable supplies
required careful planning and collaboration. To address this, we partnered with local sponsors
and organizations, allowing us to procure items such as books, clothes, and hygiene products
more effectively. This taught us valuable lessons in teamwork, resource management, and
problem-solving.
This experience significantly contributed to my personal growth. It enhanced my ability to
communicate effectively with individuals from different backgrounds and develop meaningful
relationships. By immersing myself in the children's world, I gained a deeper understanding of
their struggles and resilience. It also reinforced the importance of kindness and the power of (

Moreover, the visit heightened my sense of social responsibility. I realized that even small
gestures of care and companionship can have a profound impact on others. It also deepened my
appreciation for the privileges I have and strengthened my commitment to giving back to society.
Our visit not only brightened the children's day but also left a lasting impact on all participants.
Witnessing the children's happiness and gratitude reinforced our belief in the importance of such
initiatives. Moving forward, I aspire to organize more visits to orphanages and expand our efforts
by initiating mentorship programs and fundraising campaigns. These initiatives will provide
long-term support and create sustainable positive change in the lives of the children.
Visiting the orphanage was an enriching and transformative experience. It taught me valuable
life lessons in compassion, resilience, and the power of collective action. This CAS initiative
reaffirmed my belief in the importance of helping others and encouraged me to continue
advocating for underprivileged communities. I am eager to further engage in similar initiatives
and make a lasting impact through continued service and support.
