A. the food is chewed and crushed and mix with saliva.

Esophagus: is a long thin tube that connects the mouth and stomach. From
the mouth food is transferred to the stomach.

Stomach:The food is churned into soft pulp in the stomach.

Small intestine: the food is further digested with the help of bile juice,
pancreatic juice and intestinal juices and the nutrients are then
absorbed into the blood. The undigested food is pushed to large
intestine.

Large intestine: The large intestine absorbs excess water from the
undigested food and forms waste called feces.

Rectum: store the feces.

Anus: faces is expelled through anus.

2. name the four excretory organs of the human body. What are the
excretory products of these organs.

A.the excretory organs are

Kidneys: The pair of kidneys, ureters, urethra, and urinary bladder. It


excretes waste from the urine.

Skin: it excretes the substance like salt, some amount urea and water in the
form of sweat.

Lungs: it excretes carbon dioxide, water and other harmful substances

Liver: it eliminates the toxins along with excess fat and cholesterol

the healthy eating habits are

1. Eat food items such as fruits, green vegetables and whole grains that
are rich in fiber, it makes bowel movements easy.
2. Include food items such as curd and milk, these will improve digestion.
3. Eat slowly and chew your food well. The food mixes with saliva there
by promoting better digestion.
4. Eat meals at fixed intervals of a day. To help the body digest the food
easily.
5. Make a habit of emptying bowels around the same time in the morning
everyday.
