COURSE DESCRIPTION
Managing human resources is a key challenge in any organization. In order to enhance skills in managing
human resources, this course focuses on analyzing human behavior at work so that the students can
understand how people behave when they do and what factors do influence their behavior. It particularly
emphasizes on building conceptual and analytical skills for predicting and controlling employee behavior
in a complex business environment.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. To develop a theoretical background on general aspects of human behavior.
2. To understand the complex factors that determine human behavior at work.
3. To enhance conceptual and interpersonal skills in perceiving different organizational relations,
improving decision making ability, and resolving organizational conflicts and politics.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. To understanding key concepts of Organizational Behavior and how they apply to the world of
work.
2. To develop skills to analyze human behavior and increase observation capacity
3. To improve team skills and gain an appreciation of team dynamics.
4. To identify what may contribute to (or hinder) our own success, and become more open to the
feedback required to reach our potential.
5. To investigate sources of power and motivation, thereby setting a clearer path to earn the
commitment of others.
