Mylea Growing Process

The Mycelium leather structure includes a direct-bonded


enforcement of fabric to enhance tear strength of the
material. The leather comes with natural brown-ish color
while for black, it is naturally dyed. The leather structure
itself consists fully of natural layers of mycelium fibre that
create a solid and strong bond.

Packing and postage:

Materials usually sent with blotting paper between the layers to avoid from sticking. Make sure to immediately
store the material in a well ventilated room after being removed from the packaging.

Storage recommendation:

Store the product in a well ventilated room to avoid molding. Make sure the surface is kept in dry conditions.

Cleaning recommendation:

To clean the surfaces, use water and cloth. You can also use vegetable and sunflower oil to clean the surface.
Avoid any form of surfactant as it may dry the material. After cleaning, it is recommended to wipe dry and leave
the material in a well ventilated room to avoid the material from being sticky.

We strongly advise to try your cleaning product on a non-visible area first.
