We are seeking an experienced and talented DB Developer/Administrator to join our team. As a


DB Developer/Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining,
and optimizing databases to support the organization's data needs. This role involves database
development, administration, performance tuning, data modeling, and ensuring data security
and integrity.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze current PostgreSQL database setups to pinpoint areas for performance
enhancement and structural refinement.
• Develop and apply restructuring and normalization strategies to improve database
performance and scalability.
• Incorporate NoSQL technologies as needed to address specific scalability and
performance issues.
• Work collaboratively with software development teams to implement cutting-edge
database technologies and enhance data interactions and efficiency.
• Regularly monitor database performance, make necessary improvements, and update
to newer versions as required.
• Conduct routine testing and troubleshooting to maintain optimal database functionality.
• Document all database configurations, enhancements, and maintenance procedures to
ensure data efficiency and integrity.
• Offer technical guidance and support to team members on database design and
optimization techniques.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a database developer, with specific expertise in
PostgreSQL.
• Thorough knowledge of both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database
technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL procedural languages, such as pgSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, or Redis.
• Well-versed in database security, backup protocols, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects
concurrently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts.
