Access AfO Workbook locally

If you don’t know the folder in which the workbook is contained, you can type the workbook
number ore name in the search field and search for it.

After clicking on workbook a .xlsx file will be created and downloaded.
(Disclaimer: excel should open automatically, if it does not, please click on the file to open it)
Excel opens and the workbook is ready to use.

Access AfO Workbook directly through SAP Analysis for
Office / Excel
Open Analysis for Office locally from your Windows Start Menu:
Click on “Analysis” - “Open Workbook” and select “Open an workbook from the SAP Analysis
Cloud Platform”.

Select the system you want access (normally SAC PROD for productive data)
On the first tab the user can search for the workbook if the name (or partial name) is known.
On the second tab “MyDocuments” the user can navigate through the folders to the
workbook. By double clicking on the workbook it is
opened.

Click on the “Files” symbol and select the “Public” folder:

Click on “Analysis” - “Open Workbook” and select “Open an workbook from the SAP Analysis
Cloud Platform”.

Troubleshooting
SAC System not in the system list to access
1. Open Analysis for Office either on Citrix or locally.
2. “Insert Data Source” and “Select Data Source for Analysis”

4. If you don’t have the SAC system installed “Create a new SAP Analytics Cloud
Connection” with the URL

5. Two systems will appear for each connection, one to connect to SAC and one to
connect to B4*
through a Live Connection. Open the Live connection one.

6. And select the BWUNITED connection.
If the data connection’s technical name is not available please click on the right icon
below the X to make it visible.

7. This will guide you to the Query selection screen.
From here all should work as you are used to. Select or search for a query and let’s
go.
