FORMATO DE PLANEACIÓN DE CLASE

Instructor: Sara Violeta Valencia Quintero

Curso: Teens I Fecha: 04/03/2023

Horario: 8:00 - 12:00pm Tema: Knowing different places around the world
Objetivos:
-To use different adjectives to describe places around the world.
Salón: AC3 -To identify and say aloud/write responses about factual
information of a country/city.
-To write a short text describing a favorite place in the city.

Inicio: Tiempo Materiales


Warm-up:

A student will choose a song in English and then they will explain an expression used in
the song to the class. 60’ Quiz #1

After this, ss will work on Quiz Unit #1.

Desarrollo:

Ss will be asked to read the article found on page 25 “Amazing Places” and, after this,
they will read it while listening to the audio to verify the pronunciation.

After this, ss will work on exercises A & B on pages 26, 27 & 28. They will also work on
exercises A, B & C on page 29.

Then, ss will be asked to choose:

a) A place that they visited and that they loved.


b) A place they would like to visit.

This will be a short text with a title (the name of the place), a description and some things
that you can do there.
Break 30’
Cierre:

Ss will work on the introduction of the Final Project. They must start uploading the 50’
photos and videos

Tarea en Casa (plataforma):

Ss will work in pairs and they must choose a country, they must mention the name of the
country, the languages spoken there, something that is known about that country and a
tradition that people have in that country. They must bring visual aids and present next
class.

Ss will be reminded about the work they have on the platform.
