BASILAN STATE COLLEGE OBJECTIVES
To provide quality education that is truly relevant and responsive to socio- economic and
cultural development needs of the province, region and country.
To promote strong and viable academic program that will produce professionals truly dedicated
for service to the community.
To provide out- of- school youths and unemployed adults opportunities to develop their
potentials and capabilities to productive endeavors.
To enhance extension, work to broaden the technical knowledge and skills of rural folks and

Develop competencies in teaching their specific area of discipline to high school students such
as Mathematics, Science, Filipino, Social Studies, and English.
Acquire relevant content knowledge and pedagogical competence necessary for efficient and
effective facilitator of learning the chosen area of specialization.
Inculcate desirable attitudes, morals, aesthetics, and cultural and social values.
Apply analytical, critical, and creative thinking as well as problem- solving, decision- making and
research skills to improve learning and future actions as a teacher.

VISION:
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose values and
competencies enables them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to
building the nation.
MISSION:
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture- based
and complete basic education where students learn in child- friendly, gender- sensitive, safe
and motivating environment. The teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every
learner. Administration and staff, as stewards of the institution ensures an enabling and
supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
The family, community and other stakeholders are actively engage and share responsibility for
