the ditch which he made. [16] His mischief shall return upon his own
head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.”

his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him
fall.”

let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be
dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double
destruction.”

4. Jeremiah 30:16-17 says, “Therefore all they that devour thee shall be
devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into
captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon

heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an
Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”

5. Numbers 23:23 says, “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob,

neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall
be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!”

dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. [11]
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and
confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall
perish. [12] Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them
that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing,
and as a thing of nought.”

10. Isaiah 54:15,17 says, “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but
not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy
sake. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every
tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This
is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of
me, saith the Lord.”

11. Jeremiah 1:10,19 says, “See, I have this day set thee over the
nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to

saith the Lord, to deliver thee.”

12. Obadiah 1:3-4 says, “The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee,
thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that

thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the
stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.”

13. Isaiah 49:24-26 says, “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the
lawful captive delivered? [25] But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives
of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be
delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will
save thy children. [26] And I will feed them that oppress thee with their

Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.”

contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him
come near to me. [9] Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that

eat them up.”

Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces;
and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be

Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and
it shall not stand: for God is with us.”

Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency
on the sky. [27] The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the
everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee;
and shall say, Destroy them.”
20. Psalm 68:1-2 says, “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let
