A. Test
(1) Do the test of the FADEC system Ref. AMM 73-21-00-710-812.

4. Fault Isolation
SUBTASK 76-11-00-810-098-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message THROTTLE CONTROL UNIT (9KS1) A:
- in the avionics compartment, disconnect the plug connector C from the throttle control unit
- on the engine 1, with the throttle control lever in the idle position, do a check of the resistance
between:
. pins C and D (between 13 and 17 ohms)
. pins E and F (between 13 and 17 ohms)
. pins B and A (between 29 and 36 ohms)
. pin C and the ground (more than 10 Mohms)
. pin E and the ground (more than 10 Mohms)

. pin B and the ground (more than 10 Mohms).


(1) If the resistance value(s) is(are) out of the specified limits:
- replace the CTL UNIT-THROTTLE, ENG 1 (9KS1) Ref. AMM 76-11-19-000-804 and Ref.
AMM 76-11-19-400-804.
(2) If the resistance value(s) is(are) in the specified limits:
- connect the plug connector C to the throttle control unit (9KS1)
- open the left fan cowl-door Ref. AMM 71-13-00-010-805
- disconnect the plug connector 3804VC-A from the pylon left side electrical junction box.
- do a check of the resistance between:
. pins 4 and 5 (between 15 and 50 ohms)
. pins 14 and 15 (between 15 and 50 ohms)
. pins 30 and 31 (between 30 and 70 ohms)
. pin 4 and the ground (more than 10 Mohms)
. pin 14 and the ground (more than 10 Mohms)
. pin 30 and the ground (more than 10 Mohms).
(a) If the resistance value(s) is(are) out of the specified limits:
- repair the wiring between the plug connector C of the throttle control unit (9KS1)
and the receptacle connector 3804VC Ref. AWM 73-25-06 and Ref. AWM 73-25-06
- connect the plug connector 3804VC-A to the forward electrical junction-box
- close the right fan cowl-door Ref. AMM 71-13-00-410-805.
(b) If the resistance value(s) is(are) in the specified limits:
- connect the plug connector 3804VC-A to the forward electrical junction-box
- disconnect the plug connector 4000KS-JA3 from the EEC
- do a check of the resistance between:
. pins 4 and 14 (between 15 and 50 ohms)
. pins 29 and 30 (between 15 and 50 ohms)
. pins 12 and 13 (between 30 and 70 ohms)
. pin 4 and the ground (more than 10 Mohms)
. pin 30 and the ground (more than 10 Mohms)
. pin 12 and the ground (more than 10 Mohms).
1 If the resistance value(s) is(are) out of the specified limits:
- replace the ELECTRICAL HARNESS (4413KS) refer to the P. Block 401 of
the AMM chapter 71.
2 If the resistance value(s) is(are) in the specified limits:
- replace the EEC (4000KS) Ref. AMM 73-21-34-000-804 and Ref. AMM 73-
21-34-400-804.
