Challenge the Challenges

“When something poses an obstacle to you, surmount it,

use it as a Miracle to move on to greater height.”

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot

be seen or even touched- they must be felt with heart.
Many people spend their entire lives chasing the next
‘BIG THING’ thinking that something or someone out
there is going to make them successful. Let me tell you
the story of Helen Keller who recognized that success
and happiness were not found but rather created.

At the tender age of 19 months, Helen Keller's life was

forever changed when she fell gravely ill and developed a
severe fever. Though she managed to survive her illness,
it left her deaf and blind. Despite this, Helen went on to
achieve incredible things. When she was seven years old,
her parents received a suggestion from Alexander
Graham Bell to hire a teacher for her. That teacher was
Anne Sullivan, who dedicated herself to teaching Helen
how to read, write, behave, and speak. Anne's teaching
method involved placing Helen's hands on her own
throat and lips so that she could feel the sounds and
learn how to talk. Through her dedication and hard work,
Helen accomplished many things in her life, such as going
to college, learning to read and write in Braille, and even
writing her book. She became the first-ever deaf-blind
person to receive a bachelor's degree and learned to
communicate in five different languages. Her life story is
a testament to the power of perseverance and resilience.
Despite the challenges she faced, Helen showed that
disabilities don't define a person's abilities. Her life's
work has inspired countless others with disabilities to
never give up on their dreams. Despite her disabilities,
Keller refused to let them hold her back. She overcame
the discouragement of those who thought she was
unable to do anything like an ordinary person and
became a beacon of hope for others facing similar
challenges. Helen Keller's legacy continues to inspire us
all, reminding us that with hard work and determination,
we can overcome any obstacles in our path.

Another important personality who teaches us that

“Giving up should never be an option or an alternative” is
Stephen Hawking a brilliant and accomplished English
physicist, cosmologist, and author. He was born on
January 8th, 1942 in Oxford, England. At the young age of
21, he received a devastating diagnosis of an incurable
form of motor neuron disease, which caused him to lose
control of his muscles gradually and eventually left him
wheelchair-bound and unable to speak without the
assistance of a computerized voice system. Despite these
enormous obstacles, Hawking went on to achieve
incredible success in the field of physics, becoming most
well-known for his work on the "Big Bang Theory" and
the discovery of "Black Holes". His life serves as a
powerful reminder of the importance of cherishing each
moment of our lives, no matter how difficult our
circumstances may be. Despite his physical limitations,
Hawking's mind remained sharp and he continued to
pursue his passions with unwavering determination and
a never-give-up attitude. His legacy inspires us all to
strive for excellence and to never let adversity hold us
back from achieving our dreams. Disabilities do not stop
a person from dreaming big and achieving great success.

The biggest wall you must climb is the one you build in
your mind. Every obstacle presents an opportunity for
growth and amelioration. Turn your obstacles into
opportunities and your problems into possibilities. Be
grateful for what we already have, no matter how little
that is.
