a) What is Operating System? Explain the types of OS on the basic of user mode and on the
basis of user interface. An Operating System (OS) is software that manages
hardware and software resources on a computer
b) Explain different types of Operating System?
Types of Operating Systems include Batch OS, Time-Sharing OS, Distributed
OS, Network OS, and Real-Time OS.
c) What is a window 7? Write any two features of it.
Windows 7 is an operating system developed by Microsoft.
- Features: Improved taskbar, enhanced performance and speed.
d) What is booting? Explain its types.

Booting is the process of starting or restarting a computer.
