classsical theory

Classical conditioning, discovered by Ivan Pavlov, is a learning process where two stimuli are linked to produce a new response. This theory is significant in education as it aids in language learning, attitude development, and adjustment through the use of audio-visual aids. Teachers can apply this theory to enhance students' practical learning experiences.

Classical conditioning is learning
through association and was discovered
by Ivan Pavlov, a Russian physiologist.
In simple terms two stimuli are linked
together to produce a new learned
response in a person or animal.
Learning
 Learning is the process of
acquiring new, or modifying
existing, knowledge, behaviours,
skills, values, or preferences.

 Training and Experience

Classical conditioning refers to a learning
procedure in which a biologically
potent stimulus (e.g. food) is paired with a
previously neutral stimulus (e.g. a bell). It
also refers to the learning process that
results from this pairing, through which the
neutral stimulus comes to elicit a response
(e.g. salivation) that is usually similar to the
one elicited by the potent stimulus.
Useful in Language Learning
Development of Attitudes
Use of Audio-Visual Aids
Helpful in Adjustment
This theory is very much important in
educational context. The teacher should help
the student their best, so that we can apply
this theory in their practical life.
