Job Description
The post is accountable for delivering the implementation phase of the project cycle,
including stakeholder engagement, community mobilization, budget oversight, program
integration, and cross-cutting issues. The position also provides operational and
administrative support to staff, promoting adherence to quality standards and compliance
requirements. The Project Coordinator oversees program planning, execution, monitoring,
and coordination, working closely with various functions to ensure seamless operations
and successful program delivery.
SCOPE OF ROLE:

Staff reporting to this post: Finance/ Social Mobilier
Budget Responsibility: Girls Get Equal Program Budget
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Quality Project Implementation
Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes at the partner level to ensure
efficient and effective project delivery.
Oversee the overall implementation of the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP),
phased budgeting, and cross-cutting interventions of the Girls Get Equal program,
ensuring alignment with guidelines, compliance requirements, and partnership
agreements.
Develop and review the annual Girls Get Equal plan and community mobilization
plan, ensuring program interventions are integrated to effectively promote
community mobilization, child rights and participation, disability inclusion, GESI,
and broader inclusivity within Girls Get Equal Annual Plan.
Facilitate smooth program operations by liaising with cross-functional teams to
ensure quality programming, adherence to compliance standards, and safer
programming practices.
Collaborate with PLAN International to enhance the quality of planning and program
development through technical expertise integration.
Conduct safeguarding risk assessments for all key activities, ensuring program
structures and areas.
Regularly review and update data and information to maintain high-quality data
reporting and recording standards.
Representation
Represent the organization in municipality, district, and provincial-level meetings
and seminars as required, in coordination with the Line Manager.
Support community mobilization efforts and engage in district-level platforms,
forums, and networks related to cross-cutting initiatives.
Participate in and contribute to strategic planning and design workshops as needed.
Safeguarding
Ensure that all program staffs and relevant parties understand and respect the Code
of Conduct, Child Safeguarding, Child Protection Policies, Protection from Sexual
Abuse & Exploitation, Anti-Harassment Policy, Fraud, Bribery & Corruption Policy
and other RRPK's policies & Guidelines.
Report on the protection concerns to the Program Coordinator in-line with the
Safeguarding Policies.
Ensure the Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct and other safeguarding are
visible at all activity locations.
Well-being
Ensure that all staff members in the field are feeling comfortable in the job and in
the team and inform the Project Coordinator if the relevant employees face
particular challenges or have specific needs.
Adopt and demonstrate ‘Do No Harm’ system in each and every step of your
assignments.
Others
Other tasks as requested by the Line Manager.
Support Humanitarian responses where appropriate, ensuring timely and quality
responses in line with PLAN INTERNATIONAL standard and principles.
Facilitate Safer programming, Gender Diversity and Climate resilience programing
for long-term impact.
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree (preferred to Master’s degree) in Education, Social
Science, or a relevant field.
Experience: At least three years of project coordinator experience in program
implementation.
Expertise in budget planning, leading and mobilizing team for execution of project
target to achieve goal of project.
Familiarity with participatory community mobilization methods and child protection
policies.
Experience in building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Skills:
Strong skills in log-framework plan development and outcome-based monitoring.
Proficiency in computing skills.
Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.
Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.
Enthusiasm for working with diverse, multidisciplinary teams and rural
communities.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
