C2.15 REMARKS

- All Sprinkler flow switches and low pressure switches were “finger tripped”. The operability of these device should
be tested with actually flowing water and dropping the air pressure on the appropriate sprinkler systems by a licensed
sprinkler fitter.

- It was noticed outside the RAM truck boardroom that the fire alarm DB levels were 40 DB. Recommend adding horn
or horn/strobe to this area. It was also noticed there is no horn in the main lobby, recommend adding in this location.

- The elastomer lab and the fabrication lab DB levels are over 100 DB. These horns cannot be reattached to a lower
wattage, replacement required to lower DB levels.

- Both loop one and Loop 2 are wired DCLB, in the event of a short on the address of the loop everything on the loop
will be coming operative. Recommend re-wiring loops to DCLA with fault isolators every 25 devices as recommended
by the manufacturer.

- Annunciator points are being shared for an area zone, sprinkler flows and duct detectors. Recommend separating
zones, flows and duct detectors to have their own annunciator points as per OBC 3.2.4.9.

- The electromagnetic locks in the building are automatically reset upon reset of the fire alarm panel, it is
recommended that they be rewired to reset manually via manual keyswitch as per OBC 3.4.6.16(4) and that this
keyswitch be located as per OBC 3.4.6.16(4) for any door with an electromagnetic lock equipped on it, it should also
comply with OBC 3.4.6.16(4)(g).

- Air handler 6 supply and return duct detectors and the CQEC supply duct detector are mounted above a drop
ceiling, and should have a remote LED to show below the ceiling that they are in an alarm state.
