Instruction for Creating an Action Plan or Project Plan Addressing Issues

Related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

1. Define the Focus Area

identify the specific issue or challenge you aim to address within the chosen SDG(s).
2. Set Clear Objectives
Develop specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) objectives
that align with the SDG(s).
3. Identify Key Activities
List the steps or actions needed to achieve each objective, specifying roles, resources, and
timelines.
4. Allocate Resources
Identify the financial, human, and material resources required for the project. Include
partnerships and collaborations if necessary.
5. Establish a Timeline
Provide a detailed timeline for each activity, highlighting milestones and deadlines.
6. Monitor and Evaluate Progress
Develop indicators to measure progress, and outline a plan for regular monitoring and
evaluation.
7. Ensure Stakeholder Engagement
Highlight the involvement of stakeholders such as government agencies, NGOs, private
sectors, and local communities in planning and implementation.
