Since only the modes with lower frequencies get a significant response to
the source of excitation, only modes with lower frequencies are calculated
for the analysis.

L – span length
w – weight per unit length of pipe, fluid service and insulation if applicable
For piping spans with uniformly distributed mass and a concentrated load,
the fundamental natural frequency can be computed with the following
