1. Press the MENU key, the following message will appear on the display screen:
Set up<ENT> ?
2. Pressing the ENTER key will take us to the main level of the menu.
Setting up
From there, with the keys we will move through the screen tree
- With the PLUS and MINUS keys we will move through the different screens of the level
- With the ENTER key we advance to the next level of screens
- With the MENU key we go back one screen level
List of screens
The complete list of screens is included in ANNEX A, at the end of this manual.
Modifying parameters
The configuration screens allow us, provided our access code authorizes us, to modify the values of the
current parameters.
Some parameters can only have a limited number of values that will be shown on the screen using the
Up and Down keys. To accept one of them, press the ENTER key when the appropriate option appears
active on the screen. At that moment, the new value will be stored in the non-volatile memory of the
maneuver.
Parameters that accept numeric values can be modified directly by pressing the Plus or Minus key until
the desired value is reached. Again, the selection of the final value will be done by pressing the ENTER
key.
In all cases, the current value of the parameter will initially be displayed on the screen. For greater
agility in the process, the modification of the installation parameters can be done with the elevator
operating in normal mode.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO MODIFY THE TYPE OF ELEVATOR WHEN IT IS IN
OPERATION.
1 Press the ENTER key directly while on the main or status screen, the following message will appear
on the display screen:
To give cabin calls 2a Pressing the plus key (up arrow) or the minus key (down arrow) we will be
selecting which floor we want to send the elevator to by cabin call.
To make outside calls 2b Press the ENTER key, and then the screen will show that we want to make
an outside call, with the plus key (up arrow) or the minus key (down arrow) we select which floor we
want to make an outside call to.
LL Ext -> 1
In this option the user can select, specifically floor by floor, the characters that will represent each floor
in the cabin and exterior displays.
floor[ 2]=[**]
floor[ 2]=[**]
Once the cursor is on the corresponding character of the floor we want to modify, we press arrow+ and
arrow-, and the different alphanumeric characters to choose from will appear,
floor[ 2]=[*P]
When we have the correct one, we press the ENTER key (or arrow->) again to move to the next
character, or to the next floor. It will store the modification made and advance to the next floor.
DISPLAY EFFECTS
Relating to the programming of different effects for the display when it is LCD type.
For more details, refer to the LCD Programming Manual.
MEZZANINE
It is possible to select that the elevator has a mezzanine, so that the letter E appears on the displays.
It is a quick way to select the standard mezzanine display
STOPS
Total number of elevator stops.
The total number must be indicated so that if pe We have an elevator with a sequence '-2–1, 1, 2, 3 and
4', the value to indicate would be 6.
BASEMENTS
Total number of basements.
In the previous example it would correspond to a value of 2.
ELEVATOR TYPE
In this screen we can select the type of elevator, among the following generic ones:
^ Hydraulic: for all types of hydraulic elevators.
^ Electric Reg T1: for electric elevators with speed regulation, with simple speed change display
system.
^ Electric Reg T2: for electric elevators with speed regulation, with double speed change screen
system (2 change screens for each floor). The nominal speed is greater than 1.20 m/s.
SENSE OF GAP
To indicate the location of the Machine Room, and therefore the wiring direction of the installation.
^ CM up: The machine room is at the top of the building.
In the event that the machine room is located on intermediate floors, the end that has been taken as the
start for the shaft wiring will be taken into account, that is, the end where the shaft installation is
connected to the main board of the control cabinet.
CFG CABIN
Number of people
The maximum number of cabin calls that the maneuver will record.
In universal traffic manoeuvres, this option is used to determine whether, when operating with universal
outdoor traffic, the manoeuvre should record a single cabin call (pure universal) or several (mixed
universal).
Cfg Pre-opening
Allows you to enable or disable early opening of doors.
CFG FLOORS
Cfg manual node
Each floor module has a different serial number, which is the name that identifies them in serial
communications with the main board. The serial number appears on the identification sticker on the
module box represented in hexadecimal format, as follows “0xHH”, where 'HH' would be the
corresponding serial number.
The main board, located in the control panel in the machine room, must know the serial numbers of all
the connected floor modules, as well as their position, i.e. the floor to which they correspond.
This manual option allows you to enter the serial numbers of the modules directly from the keyboard.
It is very useful, for example, when we replace one of the floor modules in an installation that has
already been operating.
The sequence to follow would be as follows:
Once entered this screen, the following will appear on the display:
N = 1?
Using the PLUS and MINUS keys we would advance until we reach the floor module in question, then
press the ENTER key.
N3ID = 0x000000BB
For example: we have an elevator with the following sequence “1, 1, 2, 3, 4” and we have replaced the
third module of the installation, that is, the one corresponding to floor '2', with a new module whose
serial number is “0xBB”.
The process must be completed by pressing the enter key until the message “All nodes OK” appears on
the screen.
- The lower floor if the machine room is located on that floor or if the shaft wiring has been started
from the lower floor.
- The upper floor if the machine room is at the top of the building or if the shaft wiring starts on the
upper floor.
Press the ENTER key to start automatic detection of the modules.
Regardless of where the configuration is started, lower or upper floor, the numbering of the nodes will
always be in natural order, meaning that Node1 will be on the lower floor, Node2 the next, etc.
The maneuver will identify the first node, then send the elevator to the next floor, and repeat the
identification process.
This sequence will be repeated until all the floor modules are completed. A message indicating that the
operation was completed successfully will appear on the screen.
If the identification of any of the modules fails, the process will stop and a message will appear on the
screen indicating the situation, leaving the elevator on the floor corresponding to the defective module.
Cfg I/O
Allows you to configure the auxiliary input of the floor modules ^ PAUX-Firefighters
To configure the auxiliary input as a fire station key.
^ PAUX-LLPriority
To configure the auxiliary input as a priority call key. For example, in a duplex so that the selected
elevator can answer that call.
Doors
The type of control and door technology for each floor.
^ General
If all the doors are of the same type, and work with the same technique (TPC or TPA), with this option
they can all be configured at the same time.
^ Specific
In this option we will be questioned floor by floor, for each of the doors that we have indicated exist in
the cabin.
When the cabin has more than one boarding, we have to indicate which door is the correct one on each
floor. To do this, we will select 'Does not have' for the door that does not exist on each floor. At the
same time we will indicate the type of door control that applies.
Door number 1, 2 or 3 will depend on how we have connected the controls to the cabin board.
The type of door and control for each floor can be selected independently, so that it can be adapted to
any circumstance, for example it will be possible to select TPA on some floors and TPC on others.
Arrows
Allows you to configure the operation of the floor arrows.
^ Direction: Arrows on all floors will light up. Direction of movement type operation. With semi-
automatic doors, if it is open both arrows light up.
^ Go-Prox.(Sent): Only the arrow of the destination floor to which the elevator is going will light up.
Type of operation: pick-up. On the display the arrow indicates the next direction.
^ APS-DIR (Display): Only the arrow of the destination floor to which the elevator is going will light
up. On the display the arrows function as movement direction.
^ Left. – Right: Left – right arrows, indicating elevator is coming to duplex.
CFG UNIVELATION
To set up micro leveling. We can select one of the following options:
^ No micro-leveling: The lift will not micro-level.
^ Univel tpc & tpa: the elevator will perform microleveling with both the door open and closed.
^ Univel tpc: the elevator will microlevel with the door closed.
^ Univel tpa: the elevator will microlevel with the door open.
CFG READERS
Guy
Allows you to configure the type of readers for going up and down the shaft, in order to use normally
closed or normally open readers.
Important: The zone reader is not configurable, it is always normally open.
Dim pant zone
Dimension in mm of the screen or zone magnet.
Dim pant paro
Dimension in mm of the screen or stop magnet.
Dim pant change
Dimension in mm of the screen or shift magnet.
No. pant change
Number of screens or magnets that can be changed between floors.
CFG THERMOSTAT
CFG TRAFFIC
To configure the type of elevator traffic, select one of the options:
^ Selective
To fully configure in the case of universal traffic, the number of cabin calls to be recorded will be
indicated in the Config Cabina -> Num people option.
This makes it possible to configure a “pure” universal traffic by indicating
Number of people = 1
Or a “mixed” universal traffic, that is, it is universal outdoors, but records several cabin calls
indicating:
Number of people = x
(where x is the number of cabin calls to be recorded).
^ Selective S/B
This option is suitable for selective traffic in offices or public buildings. To complete the traffic
configuration, it will be necessary to select in the Config Cabina -> Num people option the number of
cabin calls that will be allowed to be recorded.
CFG TIMES
Elevator times
^ Tphotocell
Selective Elevator:
Delay time added when the photocell is actuated.
Universal Elevator:
^ Terr series
Minimum time that a series must remain open for the maneuver to be considered an error.
^ Terr doors
Maximum time that doors can take to move before the maneuver marks a door error.
^ Terr contactor
Minimum time that a contactor must be detected as failing before the error is flagged.
^ Terr lucecab
Maximum time that the cabin lights must remain failing for the maneuver to indicate error.
T various
^ Tinverpuertas
Minimum time for the door control to reverse the direction of the doors (from opening to closing or
vice versa).
^ Treset
Time for reset.
^ Treg run
Time to stop the elevator once the 'run' signal has been set to zero.
It only affects maneuvers with speed regulation or in some cases hydraulic ones to “lengthen” the
stopping zone.
^ Tluzcabin
Cabin light timing. Allows you to set a time from when the elevator stops until it gives the order to
turn off the cabin light, in the event that there are no registered calls. Logically, it will be necessary
to wire the cabin light following the diagram corresponding to the timing. Valid from Zeus version
7.21.
T graphics
^ Tgdoor
^ Tcdoors
^ Tsprite
^ Tfcabpos
^ Tfcabdes
^ Tfflechas
These are internal parameters relating to the main board display graphics. They should not be
modified.
LIFTTECHNIK, S.A. ZEUS v7.43 P. 22
T planin
^ Tenpiso
^ Quickstart
^ Floorfloor
^ T2floors
These are the actual times that the elevator takes to complete different routes. These parameters are
used by the maneuver to optimize traffic. Relevant for multiplex installations.
Clock
This option allows you to view and modify the current date and time, to adjust the real-time clock that
the maneuver incorporates.
^ Current
A value must be entered for all parameters for the clock to start.
CFG DISPLAYS
Display cabin
Guy
With this option we select the type of display installed in the cabin.
The possibilities are as follows:
^ Does not carry
^ TDC Type
CFG FIREFIGHTERS
Op. Not implemented. By default it complies with the current Regulations in force.
BASEMENTS FORWARDING
Allows you to program a resend only when the elevator is stopped in a basement.
By selecting the “No” option, we will cancel the forwarding.
FLOOR FORWARDING
The floor to which the elevator will be sent after the forwarding time has elapsed since the elevator is
stopped and there are no calls to attend to.
CFG MULTIPLEX
Num. elevators
Number of elevators connected in a group or multiplex.
Important: You should always tell him one more than the number of actual lifts in a group. Pe: for a
duplex the number of elevators is 3. In individual the number of elevators is 1.
Name
The identification number of the elevator for the multiplex maneuver. It is essential that the connected
elevators have different names.
Move
For the case of installations where the lowest stop of the elevators in a group is not the same. In move
we will enter the number of stops between the lowest of all the elevators and the lowest of the elevator
we are programming.
Traffic % speed
This parameter is a percentage between the importance given to minimizing waiting times when
answering calls from outside compared to energy savings. By default the value is 70%, and it is not
recommended to modify it.
Parkings
It is possible to configure as many parking floors as elevators connected in a group, e.g.: in a duplex we
will have “Parking 1” and “Parking 2”. Two, one or none can be programmed, but it is essential that
both elevators are programmed the same in the two parameters “Parking 1” and “Parking 2” for proper
operation.
If any of the elevators is free – without any calls to attend to – during the time programmed in “Resend
time”, it will automatically maneuver to the stop programmed in “Parking 1”. If the other elevator is
also free and remains free for a time longer than the “Resend Time”, the maneuver will automatically
send it to the scheduled stop in “Parking 2”.
LOAD WEIGHS
Guy
We can select between one of the following options: ^ Does not carry
There are no weight scales.
^ PC booth
Load weighing system installed in the cabin.
^ Fourth M PC3 NA
CM load weighing system, with three digital outputs, normally open contacts.
^ Fourth M PC NC
CM load weighing system, with three digital outputs, normally closed contacts.
Settings
For setting “0” on analogue load scales
Complete
DETECT PTC
DETECT PHASES
To enable or disable power phase detection. Detects phase failure and phase sequence.
MAINTAINER
COMMUNICATIONS
To configure communications via the RS232 serial port. It is configured by default and it is not
necessary to modify these parameters.
IMPLEMENTATION
Start-up
In this option we can enable or not a series of checks, especially useful at the time of assembly.
^ Enter the value 0x00 to disable locks (contactors, doors, etc.), detection of open series. This
option should only be used when the elevator is being used by authorized personnel. Prevents
the elevator from being put into automatic mode, important during assembly.
^ Enter the value 0x03 to enable simulation mode. It is only possible for testing control panels,
without connection to the exterior and cabin, it allows the control panel to be operated for
testing, since contactors, etc. will come into operation and the Zeus board itself will simulate
the gap detections: change and stop magnets and even pre-final ones, etc.
It is a temporary mode so that once we cut power to the control panel, the parameter value
automatically returns to the value stored before the simulation (which must be 0xFF so that we
can work normally in automatic mode in the simulation).
^ Enter the value 0xFF to enable all security and locks. It is essential to do this to start the
elevator in normal operation.
Some other disablements that may be useful:
^ 0xFE: Disables contactor error detection.
In no case do they cancel out the real safety protections, they simply cancel out the supervisions or detections
carried out by the maneuver.
BLOCKS
On the status screen at the time of the fault, the “R” symbol will appear in the lower right corner,
flashing, to indicate that we are seeing stored information, and not the actual current status of the
elevator.
Both the moment of failure and the moment of recovery are memorized, so we will know its duration.
Delete errors
This option deletes any errors stored up to that point.
INCIDENTS
Option not implemented at the moment.
MANUAL LIFT
View calls
Displays the current status of registered cabin and outside calls.
Cancel LL Ext
To cancel outside calls, the elevator will no longer accept outside calls, but will still accept car calls. On
the display, in normal mode it would appear reflected like this,
sXbXc3
Cancel LL Cab
To cancel cabin calls, the elevator will accept calls from outside. On the display, in normal mode it
would appear reflected like this,
Accept LL Ext
To accept outside calls again if they have been cancelled.
Accept LL Cab
To accept cabin calls again if they have been cancelled.
MEASURES
The maneuver takes several measurements of the installation, including the main tensions of the
installation. These values can be viewed through this option.
Vhu measure
The dip supply voltage.
Measure V48
The input voltage is 48Vac.
Measure V24
The voltage is 24Vac.
End-of-series V
The tension at the end of all safety series.
PTC measurement (oh)
The value of the PTC resistance, for hydraulic elevators.
Measure V Earth
The tension of the Earth. Allows detection of ground faults.
ELEVATOR TEST
Contactors
It allows you to view the status of the contactors in real time, for quick detection of possible faults in
them.
Nomenclature: For a contactor X
x contactor down
X contactor entered
EX contactor failing
