A NOTE FROM THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
“
Our Master brings together long-standing
principles for hospitality success with
the fresh thinking that will progress the “
industry into its next evolution.
We see the current evolving environment as a huge opportunity for new, skilled managers
to drive the industry forward. This Master’s program seeks to find and train those talented
leaders.
I believe the EHL Master in Hospitality Management is the best route to secure a middle
management role, and to succeed in it. The program is designed with this exact purpose
in mind – to train you with the skills you need to thrive in the mission-critical roles that the
industry needs right now.
I am excited about the prospect of nurturing the talent that will make hospitality what it
will be in the coming years.

INTRODUCTION
Designed for recent graduates, our Master’s program is the next step to our renowned
Bachelor’s degree and takes hospitality management to a higher level of thinking. It
encourages you to build on your previous experience, introducing you to advanced
hospitality management strategies and challenges you to conduct your own research.
During the second semester, you will specialize your studies in either food and
beverage or hospitality finance, real estate and consulting. Each route focuses on
the expertise needed for different hospitality management roles and explores the
challenges affecting key functions.
As the program progresses, you will develop your learnings through real-world
experience and insights. A professional immersion, part of the capstone thesis, exposes
you to life in a management role and the challenges you will face day-to-day. Not
only will your experience provide vital insights and context for your research, but it will
also make you more attractive to employers and enable you to build a network in the
industry. You can also gain industry-recognized professional certifications while you
study, helping you to stand out when applying for roles.
