Guidelines for Wearing Gemstones

1. Avoid Stones for Malefic Houses (6th, 8th, 12th):


o Do not wear stones for the lords of the 6th, 8th, or 12th houses.
o If the ascendant lord is in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house and becomes weak, you
can wear its stone to strengthen it.
2. Beneficial Stones:
o Wear stones for the lords of trine houses (1st, 5th, 9th) as they are generally
beneficial.
3. Special Cases:
o For Cancer ascendant, Jupiter is both the 9th (benefic) and 6th (malefic) lord.
Sometimes, its stone suits, but sometimes it does not.
4. Stone Weight Recommendations:
o For individuals weighing over 10 kg, one ratti per 10 kg of body weight.
o Typical stone weights: 6 ratti, 6.15 ratti, or 6.5 ratti. Avoid wearing 5.75 ratti.
