Course Outcomes
Evaluation pattern
• Midterm - 30%
• Class tests - 15% NO Re-test/ missed tests
• Written test – 5
• Open book test – 5
• MCQ – 5
• Seminar -15%
• End semester - 40%
Seminar guidelines
• A group of 3-4 students
• Topics related to biomedical applications where signal processing is
crucial (maximum 20 slides)
• Each seminar should be 15-20 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A
session (6 marks)
• Implement one of the referred papers (6 marks)
• Come up with a novel proposal for a biomedical signal processing
technique currently in use. (3 marks)
• The proposal should demonstrate an improvement or innovation over existing
methods.
