CHRISTMAS DÉCOR COMPETITION
Dear Parent,
Greetings!
We are excited to announce the Christmas Decor Competition for our students, designed to
spark creativity and festive spirit! This year, students will have the opportunity to craft
beautiful decorative items at home and submit them for evaluation.
Competition Details
1. Theme: Eco-Friendly and Festive (Christmas)
2. Submission Date: 18th December ’24, Wednesday
3. Guidelines:
o Students must create their decorative items at home and assemble it in school.
o Time: 45 mins will be given to students to make/assemble the decorative
in class.
o Students are NOT permitted to bring scissors to school. All cutting work
must be completed at home.
o The use of recycled or eco-friendly materials is encouraged.
o Items must adhere to the dimensions specified for each grade (details
attached).
o Images are also attached for your reference.
o Ensure the decor is durable enough for display purposes.
Grade-wise Decoratives details-

Nursery
Colouring Competition
Materials Required:
o A cut-out of a star (approximately 10 cm on each side)
o Crayons
o Decoration material (optional)

Christmas Tree Making
• Materials Required:
o Green and brown chart paper
o Decoration material
o Glue stick
o The approximate size of the tree should be 40 cm.

Materials Required:
o Green and brown chart paper
o Decoration material
o Glue stick
o The approximate size of the tree should be 30 cm.

Grade 1:
Student need to prepare unique Christmas bells of different size (at least 2).
Rules:
1. Use materials of your choice such as:
Paper, cardboard or foam sheet.
Decorative items like glitter, beads, ribbons or bells.
2. Bells must be handmade
3. Ensure your design reflects creativity and festive cheer.
Please note send the cut-outs and the decorative materials required to the school on the day of
the competition.
Some ideas:
• A paper Mache bell painted with vibrant colours.
• A bell created using paper cups wrapped with gift paper and decorated using different
decorative items.

Candy stick
Cut out of different sizes of snowman and candy stick (1 each)
2A: snowman cut out of 20 cm and candy stick as well
2B: snowman cut out of 30 cm and candy stick as well
2C: snowman cut out of 40 cm and candy stick as well
2D: snowman cut out of 30 cm and candy stick as well
2E: snowman cut out of 45 cm and candy stick as well

Please note send the cut outs to the school plus decorative materials to decorate them. Use
your own creativity.

Materials required:
o Cut-outs of different Christmas decors such as stars, snowflakes.
o Glue stick
o Glitters (optional)
o Thread / Strings
o Cardboard disc / round shape 10 cm diameter.

• Materials Required:
o Ice cream sticks
o Coloured papers
o Decorative material

Decorated box/es
• Decorate empty box of any shape and size
• Use your creativity to decorate.
• Minimum 6-inch
• Minimum of 3 boxes per student

3D sledge
• Make 3D sledge using card boards
• Minimum size of sledge should be 6-inch in length
• Decorate it using your creative skills

Wreath
• Make wreath using your own choice of base eg: laces, twigs, paper, card board,
glittery laces, etc
• Minimum 15-inch diameter
Grade 9:
Advent Calendar

• Creativity and originality
• Neatness and presentation
• Relevance to the Christmas theme
Submission Instructions
• Completed items must be made/submitted to the class teacher on 18th December ’24.
• Ensure the student’s name, grade and division are clearly labelled on the item.
