FEBRUARY STORY

Introduction (read before starting game)

There are no tall buildings to be found. There is not the

hustle and bustle that comes from a city that never
sleeps. The only thing out here that can be heard is the
sound of animals mooing, baaing, and oinking. And on
this little farm, up in her room, is a girl holding and
cuddling her pet… groundhog. Yes, you read that right, a
groundhog. She says to her furry friend, “You have a big
day, tomorrow! It is your day, dear groundhog! Whether
you see your shadow or not, you’ll always be my
beloved groundhog.” She snuggles her dear pet again.
She couldn’t be happier, but as she exhales, she sees
her breath in the air. She feels a cold chill in the room.
Her farmer father screams from downstairs, “Help! Help!
The ice, it’s alive!” She runs to her closet, grabbing the
mask and costume that her father has never known
about. Her window explodes open as an old woman,
covered in frost, bursts into the room, snatching the
beloved groundhog. “I’ve got you now! Now it will always
be winter! Ahahahah!” She cackles and disappears out
of the room through the window. The girl emerges from
the closet, needing to save her father, her family farm,
and her dear groundhog. There is only one person who
can save the day, and she is… The Great Groundhog!

Conclusion (read after finishing game)

You throw Grandma Winter to the ground as Icicle

Minions squeal and flee. “No one messes with my
groundhog’s day!” Your groundhog scurries over to you
with delight, chirping and teeth chattering to show its
appreciation. Your father looks at you, with a new found
appreciation. “You? You’re The Great Groundhog? My
goodness. I’m so proud. This sure will be a Groundhog
Day to remember.” You lift up your pet groundhog in
celebration, as all the rescued farm animals sound their
glee. You think to yourself, “That was a close one. I
might need to find some help next time.”
