Introduction
Creating a brochure about the career of Public Accounting is a useful project that allows us to
explore important topics like the skills needed and the use of AI in this profession. Public
accountants need strong skills in math, communication, problem-solving, and organization to
handle tasks such as audits and financial reports. In today’s world, AI is also becoming a key part of
accounting by helping automate repetitive tasks, such as data entry and tax calculations. This
project gives us the chance to understand how these skills and technologies work together to
improve accounting services.
What I like about this project is that it helps us see both the benefits and challenges of these new
trends. On the positive side, AI makes processes faster and reduces mistakes, giving accountants
more time to focus on analysis and consulting. However, it also brings challenges, such as the need
for accountants to learn how to use new software and adapt to changes in their roles.

Main Ideas:
Evolving CPA Role: CPAs in business need advanced tech skills, strategic thinking,
and adaptability to keep pace with modern demands.
Importance of Tech Adaptability: Skills in AI, automation, and building custom
tech solutions are vital for handling rapid technological shifts.
Soft Skills and Strategic Insight: Effective communication, relationship-building,
and decision-making skills are essential for CPAs to act as business partners.
Cross-Functional Knowledge: CPAs must understand broader business
fundamentals, like revenue management and investment, to
contribute strategically.

Secondary Ideas:
Generative AI Skills: Familiarity with AI, including tools like ChatGPT, enables
CPAs to streamline tasks and enhance analysis.
Continuous Learning: Both employers and employees should foster a culture
of ongoing skill development.
Team Transformation: Leaders should provide clear pathways for upskilling to
help finance teams evolve and align with broader business goals.

broad understanding of diverse business areas, increasing their adaptability.

Individual Conclusions

Axel Manuel Cruz Espinoza

In conclusion, today's accountant must combine both technical, analytical and technological skills, with a meticulous attitude. This
not only makes your daily work easier, but also allows you to contribute significantly to the success and sustainability of the
organization. To perform their role effectively, an accountant needs a solid foundation in technical knowledge, including regulations
such as IFRS, as well as an up-to-date understanding of local tax laws and regulations. This technical mastery ensures that your
financial reports are accurate and comply with legal requirements. Likewise, analytical capacity is essential. Accountants must go
beyond the numbers, interpreting financial data, identifying trends and providing information that supports strategic decision
making. This analytical skill allows them to be an active part in the planning and growth of the company. The management of digital
tools is also critical. Modern accountants should become familiar with software such as Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, along
with other analysis tools that improve the efficiency and accuracy of their processes. Above all, attention to detail is essential, since
accuracy in financial records is key to avoiding errors that could affect the reliability of the information and the reputation of the
company. These key skills of an accountant are critical to your success in a demanding and dynamic financial environment.

Creating a brochure about the career of Public Accounting is a great way to explore key topics such as the skills required for the
profession and how AI is changing the field. Public accountants need more than just math abilities; they also need good
communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Organization and attention to detail are essential to manage audits,
financial reports, and tax returns effectively. In addition to these skills, understanding how to work with AI tools is becoming
increasingly important in accounting. AI helps automate tasks like data entry, invoicing, and tax preparation, allowing accountants to
focus more on analysis and advisory roles.
One interesting part of this project is learning about both the opportunities and challenges that come with these new trends. AI
makes many processes faster and reduces human error, improving efficiency. However, it also changes the accountant’s role, making
it necessary to learn new technologies and stay updated with the latest software. This brings both excitement and some difficulties,
as adapting to change can take time and effort.
In my opinion, this brochure will provide useful insights for students or anyone thinking about working in Public Accounting. It
highlights not only the essential skills needed but also the importance of embracing technology. This task is also a great way for us to
develop research, organization, and communication skills, which are important in any profession. Overall, this project is a valuable
opportunity to learn more about accounting and how AI is shaping its future.
Individual Conclusions
Omar Raziel Salazar Villarreal
This work was very important, as creating the brochure allowed us to focus on the importance of transforming academic knowledge
into practical dissemination materials, like a brochure, to promote an accessible and applicable understanding of accounting topics.
Through the creation of the brochure, we were able to simplify and synthesize the information from a complex article, enhancing our
analytical and effective communication skills. Moreover, this activity strengthened our ability to identify and convey key accounting
concepts, a fundamental field in the financial management of any organization. Thus, this work represents not only an academic
exercise but also an effort to make specialized knowledge more accessible to a broader audience.
Through this work, we learned to identify and extract key concepts from an article, simplify them without losing accuracy, and
organize them in a visually attractive and easy-to-understand format. This not only reinforces our understanding of specific
accounting topics but also prepares us to fulfill an important role as communicators of financial information, capable of reaching
different audiences, from clients to colleagues or managers.
The experience of creating an informational material like a brochure also helps us highlight the relevance of accounting in a
practical setting by illustrating how accounting principles can be presented in concise and useful formats for decision-making in
companies or organizations.

The fact of this learning evidence, the truth was that it was interesting since when investigating the information for our brochure I
learned new things about our career, as well as the way in which we have to be prepared when starting our working life
professionally, and what skills and aptitudes we must have at that precise moment, as well as how we can face the new
technological challenges that may touch us as professionals this in terms of issues about AI, among others, that was what I learned
and for the same reason he did that It was important for me to make this evidence, as for the brochure in general I also liked that to
a certain extent I learned to simplify this information and that it is still entertaining, attractive to the public that reads it, and that at
the time of reading it you learn all the relevant information of the article from which the brochure was made. Finally, it was easy to
make this evidence thanks to my colleagues who have a good organization and planning to make the evidence, not only in this
evidence but in the previous ones that we have already done, the good teamwork has made making the evidence not heavy but quite
the opposite.
Individual Conclusions

Samuel Alejandro Lozano Hernandez

The article on essential skills for CPAs in today’s business environment highlights the importance of combining technical expertise
with adaptability and strategic thinking. In a fast-evolving digital landscape, CPAs are expected not only to master AI,
automation, and data tools but also to understand the broader business implications. Soft skills like relationship building,
storytelling, and communication have become equally vital, allowing CPAs to serve as trusted advisors. Leaders are encouraged
to support continuous learning and foster a culture of innovation, enabling finance teams to contribute meaningfully across
departments.
It emphasizes the evolving role of CPAs, who now need to balance technical and strategic skills. Modern CPAs must excel in
technology, including AI and automation, while also possessing adaptability to navigate rapid advancements. However, technical
expertise alone is insufficient; CPAs are increasingly expected to act as strategic advisors, relying on soft skills like
communication, relationship-building, and collaboration. Leaders encourage continuous learning and skill-building to help
finance professionals drive business growth and innovation. This transformation shifts CPAs from traditional roles into proactive
professionals with a unique blend of finance and cross-functional expertise, making them invaluable business partners.
For me, this information is very interesting, I learned about some skills that are important in our professional life, taking place
with communication and good thinking strategies.
