ROLE Electrical Engineer REPORTING TO Head of design

DEPARTMENT Design DIVISION Engineering

GRADE E SALARY RANGE AED 18000 - 22000

Role Description:
Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing all electrical systems, good Knowledge of electrical calculations software (i.e. DIALux, AMTECH
Pro Design etc. So that it can fulfill a specific purpose, be economic and functioning throughout its intended lifetime.

JOB LOCATION : Egypt Cairo

Responsibilities:

• To fully provide concept and design for the entire Electrical Systems (CCTV, Fire Fighting system, Access Control, Lighting and Power,
Central Battery Systems and Emergency Exits) for residential projects, from Concept Design Documents, to Construction Documents
• Provide comprehensive, accurate, and complete Mechanical design on a tight schedule while minimizing future cost variation from tender
documents.
• Efficiently calculating building cooling loads via Authority Approved software.
• Designing of Firefighting and Lightening systems that will be approved by Dubai Civil Defence
• Designing of fire fighting system design as per UAE fire code and NFPA
• Coordinating with Architects and Engineers to ensure Electrical Services can be properly accommodated with minimal impact to building
efficiency.
• Managing CAD technical specialists via providing technical instructions and advice in ensuring design and layouts are as per standards.
• Providing assistance to site engineers in matters regarding the Electrical Systems of ongoing projects.
• Reporting to Project Managers and ensuring that Electrical Design will be completed as per provided deadlines
• Coordinating with Submittal Engineers to ensure that submitted documents are as per respective Authorities’ requirements as well as record
keeping of all Electrical documents submitted
• Discussing with Electrical Equipment suppliers to ensure equipment selected will be as per Electrical Design requirements
• Reporting to the head of Design for presentation of design and incorporate feedback as needed.
