(MFS110 RD Service - Windows)

1. Introduction
MFS110 RD Service facility to capture biometric data of user/resident that will be used for
Authentication/EKYC using Aadhaar authentication/EKYC API.

2. About This Release


Features added in this release as below.
 As per the received notification titled from UIDAI "IMPORTANT NOTICE: UIDAI Encryption
Algorithm Migration from PKCS1Padding to OAEP," we have updated our RDService accordingly.

3. Compatible Products
This product has been tested on the following platforms and below MFS100 Driver Setup.

Platform Supports
1) Windows 10 (64 bit & 32 bit)
2) Windows 11 (64 bit)

Prerequisites
1) MFS110 Driver Setup 1.1.0.0
Note: MFS110 Driver setup will install below setups as prerequisites.

A) Dot Net Framework 4.5.2 or higher

4. Upgrades

4.1 RDService Upgrade

There are two processes to upgrade MFS110 RD Service Version 1.0.4 to 1.1.0.

1) Manual RD Service Upgrade Process


You can download MFS110 RD service setup version 1.1.0 & MFS110 Driver Setup Version 1.1.0.0
from below download Portal.

Go to Download – Drivers & Documents
2) Auto RD Service upgrades process from Management Server
 Management Server will have facility to upgrade MFS110 RD Service 1.0.4 to 1.1.0
remotely over the air.
 On every restart, RD Service will check latest version available on Management Server, and
Management Server will provide upgraded packages to RD Service.

5. New Features
Features added in this release as below.
 As per the received notification titled from UIDAI "IMPORTANT NOTICE: UIDAI Encryption
Algorithm Migration from PKCS1Padding to OAEP," we have updated our RDService accordingly.

6. Known Bugs and Limitations

6.1 General Note


 MFS110 RD service setup version 1.1.0 having dependency of Dot Net Framework 4.5 or higher, so
its recommendation to Install MFS110 Driver Setup 1.1.0.0 or higher.
