Basic rules of Report Writing


1. A short caption as a title (very important)
2. Do not leave out any point or guideline already given
and elaborate it.
3. Paragraphs are must (at least 4 paragraphs)
4. Dates of reports should be current if it is a factual
writing.
5. Try to complete it within 250 to 300 words.
6. First sentence of the report should be the leading
sentence revealing immediately what the report is about.
7. Underline the key points…(very important)
