Overview: The Senior .NET Developer / Tech Lead will be working on a customer-facing
application aimed at helping Siemens Energy's customers become more carbon neutral. The
application provides insights and recommendations on how to adjust machinery and operations
to reduce carbon emissions.

Project Impact: The decarbonization journey application is a critical tool for Siemens Energy's
customers, providing valuable insights into how they can reduce their carbon footprint. By
enhancing and maintaining this application, the Senior .NET Developer will play a key role in
supporting Siemens Energy's sustainability goals and helping their customers achieve greater
efficiency and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

●​ Backend Development: Lead the development and maintenance of backend services


using .NET 7 and C#.
●​ Experience with cloud platforms with AWS services.
●​ Unit Testing: Implement and configure unit tests to ensure high code quality and
reliability.
●​ Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and integrating third-party libraries.
●​ Entity Framework: Utilize Entity Framework for data access and management.
●​ CI/CD Pipelines: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment
processes.
●​ Database Management: Work with Postgres databases for data storage and retrieval.
●​ Frontend development using Angular
Required Skills:

●​ .NET 7: Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable .NET code.
●​ AWS: Experience with cloud platforms with AWS services.
●​ C#: Develop backend services and applications.
●​ Entity Framework: Implement data access logic.
●​ CI/CD Tools: Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous
deployment pipelines.
●​ Postgres: Manage and interact with Postgres databases.
●​ Unit Testing and .NET Testing Tools: Ensure code quality through robust unit
testing frameworks.
●​ Angular

Working hours: Full-time dedication (8 hours/Day - 40 hours/week)
Contract details: : Long-term contract position (1+ year – Renewed annually)
