ABSTRACT
(250 WORDS ONLY)

(Provide enough information to help with searching and indexing of your

work; Summarize all key findings typical sections include background
(including statement of the problem), methods, results, and conclusion)

CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

(maximum of 2pages only)

(Describe why the paper is being written; include problem statement or

objectives of the study and/or research question or research objectives; gap

of the study; cite some problems related to your research topic international,

national and local settings).

Objectives of the Study (3-4 items)

General Objectives

Specific objectives:

1) to determine…

2) to describe…

3) to ascertain ……

Scope and Delimitation

Discuss the Date of conduct, Place and how to gather Data (primary,

secondary).

Significance of the Study

General statement (who will benefit you research study and why)

Caraga National High School-

Students-

Parents-

Parent Teacher Association-

Community-
(2) Related Theories (Research and read some theories and discuss and

relate your topic)

Operational Definition of Terms

General statement (Define only the terms or words found in your

research title with proper reference and citation)

Example:

Teenage Pregnancy-

Teenage-

Pregnancy-

Intervention-
Review of Related Literature

(Minimum of 10 pages)

This chapter contains literature and related studies that helped the

researcher to conceptualize the present study. General statement (Example:

The chapter is specifically divided into two topics: Extra-curricular Activities

and Academic Performance). (Base your Review of Related Literature and

Studies to your title and objective of the study in chapter 1)

CHAPTER 2

METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the methods and techniques used in the

research study (research design), the population and participants of the study,

locale of the study, research instruments, data gathering procedures, data

analysis, and ethical standard.

Research Design (Discuss what specific qualitative research design you

want to utilize in your research based on your topic or title and why example.

Case Study, Ethnography, Historical Study, Phenomenology, Grounded

Theory see your Learning activity sheet in Practical Research 1, week 1 & 2

about Understanding Data and Ways to Systematically Collect Data)

Participants of the Study

(Discuss the number of the participants and who are they)

Research Sampling (Probability sampling example: (Simple Random

Sampling, Systematic Sampling, Stratified Sampling, Cluster Sampling, Non-

probability sampling example: Quota Sampling, Voluntary Sampling,

Judgmental or purposive sampling, Expert Sampling, Snowball Sampling)

Data Collection Method

(Remember: in qualitative research the Data is a word describing valid

information capable of helping a researcher answer his/her questions. It may

derive from several different sources. The data will be collected by using

WORD or TEXT in describing the valid information example INTERVIEW

using guided questions see your LAS week 1 and 2 Practical Research 1).

Research Instrument

(example: guide questionnaire discuss it on how you utilize in your

research)

Research Procedure

(Discuss the procedure on how you come up your topic all the

processes and steps from the very start from creating the topic until the end of

the research)

Data Analysis

(Example: Patterns and Themes from Data Gathered; discuss on how

you analyze all the data gathered based on your Statement of the problem;

what specific analysis)

CHAPTER 3

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This chapter presented the analyzes and interprets the data gathered

through the use of (example: thematic analysis or pattern). Results of the data

analysis are interpreted in relation and in the order of research questions

stated in the statement of problem section under in Chapter 1 of this research

paper.

(Frame the findings of the review in the context of the problem from your

statement of the problem 1, 2 and 3)

CHPATER 4

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents the summary of the findings, conclusion, and

recommendations based from the gathered data.

Summary

(Key findings including relevance to the rational and specific aims and

Strengths of the research paper; Summarize the findings without using any

numbers)

Conclusion

(State what new information your research paper or work contributes

as a result of your review and synthesis; Usefulness of the work;

Sustainability; Potential for application to other contexts; Implications for

practice and further study.

Based on the findings stated, the following conclusions were drawn:

Recommendations

(Base your recommendations from the conclusions)

Given the arrived conclusions, the following recommendations are

proposed.
