Senior Software Engineer-1

Exp- 2 - 4 Years

Looking for highly talented and passionate individual to join our team of engineers deployed to the
front line. This is where the rubber meets the road, where the product has to meet customer needs

Our Data Infrastructure Team develops the data ingestion pipelines and data platform architecture
that supports the analytical and reporting needs of internal business stakeholders, data scientists, and
our machine learning team. This is a hands-on role.

You will be a part of enabling our current and future premium offerings to optimally drive revenue
growth for Gradeup.

What You’ll Do:

 Manage the core company data pipeline, responsible for scaling up data processing flow to
meet the rapid data growth at gradeup.

 Design, develop and support data platform with large dataset for ad-hoc access, recurring
reports

 Implement ELT/ETL processes from a wide variety of data sources using best practices while
working with other technology teams

 Work with business teams and support their business analyst to understand their data needs,
gather requirements and delivering dataset

 Work on automating/improving existing data sets, ETL/ELF pipelines

 Mentor team members

 Stakeholder management

What You’ll Need:

 2+ years of Data Engineering experience

 Basic understanding of Data Modeling.

 Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures,


algorithm design and complexity analysis, operating system

 Should be excellent in problem solving skills

 Should be able to write high quality code - preferably in Python/JS

 Data modelling, SQL and Databases knowledge

 Good working knowledge of Bigquery environment

 Experience working with big data and database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL,
Cassandra, Elasticsearch.
