Course Policies The following policies and guidelines are intended to provide guidance to the faculty while at the same time creating a clear set of requirements for
accommodation and reacting some of the common issues that may arise from the new method of teaching and learning in this semester. This should
be clearly conveyed to the students in the syllabus and at the beginning of the semester.

1. Every student should attend classes regularly and punctually. If a student gets absent, he/she should present an excuse letter signed by the
College Secretary, the Department Chairperson or the College Dean.
2. Students who incur absences in more than 20% of the class hours (equivalent to 8 sessions) may be dropped from the rolls and given a grade
of “UW or “5”, depending on his/her class standing.
3. Special tests/exams and/or exercises/activities may be given to a student who gets absent with a valid reason provided that he/she presents
an excuse letter signed by the College Secretary, Department Chairperson or the College Dean.
4. Assignments/homework and other requirements should be submitted on time. Late submission of assignments shall not be tolerated and will
have corresponding deductions.
5. Honesty should be practiced at all times. A student who is caught cheating shall be given a grade of 5.0.
