oracle database
Click on + to schedule a new extract job
This window comes it has 3 steps
1 Schedule details –
Job type – the type of job you want to schedule there are few types –
1. Application data extract – to extract data from oracle. Application Data Extract supports
incremental extracts after the last successful extract.
2. Active Primary Key Extract - Active Primary Key Extract refers to the process
of extracting data that includes primary key information
Parameters-
Name: name of the schedule
Global data store list (checkbox – yes or no) : data store list defined by us
globally that refers to all the data stores available for extraction through bicc
NOTE- if u select the check box to yes the data store list step in schedule is
removed as the data store is set to global data store list
3. Delete expired ucm files-
This schedule deletes all the expired files from ucm after 90 days to free up space The job deletes only expired files
from the OBIAImport security group.
U can specify expired after or expired before timestamp to do so in this format Example format: 2024.10.07
AM 12:00:00
4. Delete files in external storage -To delete all of the files uploaded to one or more
selected external storages, select Delete Files in Storage . it deletes all file
uploaded to the OBIAImport security group
RECURRENCE- Specify how often you want the extract to be performed.
Options – immediate :runs the job once immediately , simple: run only once per day on specified
time , hourly : select start and end date with hours internval in it ,daily : only select start and end

Timestamp filter example - : 2024.10.07 AM 12:00:00
2 Data store list -
This step is only in Application data extract, Active Primary Key Extract to select what offering to be used as data store for
the schedule to extract data select individual pvo from checkboxes
To select all at once click on enabled for extraction checkbox
3 External storage-
External storage – to connect this job to a external storage where we performing this action like ucm,oci etc
Notification – 3 options –global extract schedule notification is default , define notification – u can specify when it
sends notification ex –start or success or failure and then u select to what mail it sends
File parameter – If u select no in global file parameters :These are used fopr extract type of job only – you can
select compression type of data –zip or gzip ,split file ( if file is large the size of one file wont exceed the size u give
and it will divide data accordingly ),uploaded file expiry date- ucm holds a file for 90 days in default case but u can
change it accoding to ur need
ACTIONS-
Last Run Status for Application Data Extract- tell the status of most recent job of bicc –
succes ,failed ,in progree,wait
Last Run Status for Active Primary Key Extract- This refers to the status of the last run of a data
extract focused specifically on Active Primary Key information. This could be an extraction job aimed
at retrieving data related to active primary keys from tables in Oracle applications or databases.
It is the type of data extract which depends on a primary key
Last Run Status for Stateless Application Data Extract –
A stateless data extract is one that does not retain state between runs. Each time the extract is
triggered, it starts from a fresh state, independent of previous runs
Last Run Status for Stateless Active Primary Key Extract-
This refers to the status of a stateless data extract focused specifically on active primary keys, but
without retaining information from the previous extract runs
