SCENE 1 (Celtics)

Narrator: A long time ago, in a land far away... A big rebellion was going on in Britain, the
brave and rebellious queen attempting to recover the territory the Romans had stolen from
them. The queen, after gathering her army of 100,000 warriors in an attempt to free her land,
led her army through Britain.

Boudica: Good job guys! I know you’re very tired from the constant battles against those
arrogant Romans, but trust me, this will be the final one. Now that we have called their
attention, we’ll be waiting for them in the dock.

Neil: So, um, what’s the plan?

James: I think we should just attack them; we should win

Prasutagus: That is not how it works; I think we should first fire projectiles, then rush at them
Dylan: (somewhat annoyed) I think you two should just stay quiet if anybody else is listening;
we have to be quiet

Neil: So, we don't have a plan?

Dylan: Well, meh, we’ll come up with an idea when we get there.

(The Britains and their queen start to move to the dock of Camulodunum city.)

(James, starting to act very fatigued and tired)

James: (panting from exhaustment) I’m so tired; are we almost there?

Prasutagus: (Patting his shoulder) Don’t worry, James. We are almost there; just wait a little bit
more.

Neil: I still can’t believe we don’t have a pla- (gets interrupted by Brianna)

Brianna: Guys, I think this is it; we’re here

Dylan: (trying to find a good place to hide.) Hey guys, should we hide here?

James: (Points out of scene.) Good idea; what if we hide there and then wait for the Romans?

Boudicca: Great idea, you two; let’s do that.

(The Celtics gets out of the scene)

SCENE 2 (ROMANS)

Narrator: Julius Caesar, the emperor of Rome, with a thinking face, was sitting on his throne.
Around him stood loyal soldiers, holding massive palm leaves and gently fanning him as a
gesture of respect and devotion to their esteemed leader.

Julius Caesar: Ahh, this is so boring; there’s nothing to do here.

Cyrus: Erm king... Sorry for the interruption, but I have bad news.

Julius Caesar: Tell me, now!

Cyrus: King, the queen Boudica is causing more problems in Britain, so we nee-

(Julius Caesar holds Cyrus in the neck before he could finish)

Julius Caesar: You useless, go call Gaius now!!!

Cyrus: Yes, immediately, king.

(Cyrus gets out of the scene and then returns with Gaius.)

Gaius: What happened, sir?

Julius Caesar: Well, your partner Cyrus just told me that you are having some trouble with the
queen.

Gaius: Yes, that’s true.

Julius Caesar: What kind of problems is the queen causing?

Gaius: The queen has turned rebel and wants to recover the control of Britannia, sir.

Julius Caesar: What did you say?

Gaius: What I said, my king is that-

Julius Caesar: (interrupts Gaius and screams at him.) Yeah, I heard! What are you doing here?
Go immediately to stop this!

Gaius: Okay, guys, come over here!

Diana and Cecilia: Yes, our commander.

(The soldiers that were blowing the air to Julius stop and go with Gaius out of the scene.)

Julius Caesar: (He grabs his sword and stands up on his throne.) Hey, wait for me!

SCENE 3 (Both)
Narrator: The Romans arrived at Britain, but what they didn’t know was that the Celtic army
was waiting to attack them by surprise already.

Julius Caesar: Finally we’re here; time to stop that bad and annoying queen.

Gaius: First, we need to find them where they could be.

(The Celtic warriors hiding in the bushes)

Prasutagus: (Whispering) Look! The Romans are there!

Brianna: Yeah, we are more than them; we should attack right now!

Neil: Yes, but we need to wait for them to be distracted.

Dylan: (Noticing that they are turning their back on them.) Look guys! They are distracted, and
this might be the only chance we have to attack them.

Boudicca: You’re right. Let 's attack.

(The Celtic army nods and they come out from the bushes to attack the Romans.)

Boudica: Attack!!!!

Celtic Warriors: Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!

(The Roman and the Celtics attack each other.)

Narrator: The Romans and the Celts attacked each other, but unfortunately the Romans weren’t
prepared adequately for this battle.

Julius Caesar: They are beating us all. Withdrawal!!! Withdrawal!!!

All Romans: Run for your life!!!

(The Romans get out of the scene.)

Brianna: Good job guys, we won

Prasutagus: Little chicks, they can’t hold us; they need to escape.

Dylan: Should we chase after them?

Boudicca: No, leave it like that. Let's prepare for another attack.

Celtic soldiers: Yes, queen!

(The Celtics get out of the scene.)

Scene 4 (Romans)

Narrator: Fortunately, the Romans managed to escape from the battle, but they were greatly
affected in their health.

Cecilia: (With a vulnerable voice) What are we going to do now, my king?

Julius Caesar: Well, first, we need to rest, and second... I don’t know.

Cyrus: (With a strong, convincing voice) My people, we might lose this battle, but we haven’t
lost the war. I don’t plan to die here, and I think you do too. They beat us in number, but we beat
them in force and intelligence. We can’t give up, not today. We'll continue fighting for our
families that are waiting for us at home. For our kid—

Julius Cesar: (Coughs) Yeah, continue.

Cyrus: As I was saying, for our kids, our family, we can’t disappoint them. For Ro!!- (Coughs
uncontrollably and falls to the floor.)

Diana: (With a worried face) Is he dead?

Gaius: Yeah, maybe; let me check. Are you alive?

(No answer)

Gaius: And he is dead.

Julius Caesar: Ahh, finally. He was a headache; now I can sleep in peace.

Cecilia: We should give him some words right; at the end, he was part of us.
Julius Caesar: Yeah, let’s give him some words.

Cecilia: Soldiers, kind, general, we are all here together to commemorate the dead of a dear
soldier, Cyrus.

Julius Caesar: He was like a son to me; he was too young to die!!

(He takes a handkerchief out of his pocket and blows his nose sadly.)

Diana: He was one of us. I hope he is resting in peace in the other world.

Julius Caesar: Well now I remember you that we are in war; we need to do a plan; we lost
almost half of our army, and they have 10 Celtic warriors for each Roman warrior we have, so
we need to have a plan.

Diana: See that mountain over there; maybe we can go there and wait for the Celtics because
they can only attack us by one side, which will increase our chances to win the battle.

Cecilia: Yeah, good plan, but they are way more than us, so we need plan B.

Diana: Yeah, we’ll talk about that in the way.

Julius Caesar: Come over here; I’ll tell you something. (Whispers)

All: Yeah!!!!!

Gaius: Alright, it will be a long way up.

(The Romans get out of scene)

Scene 5 (Celtics)

Narrator: Now the Celtics had also prepared a plan, but they are searching for the Romans.

Prasutagus: Ahh, where can the pesky Romans be?

Boudicca: Don’t worry about it, my love; we’ll find them soon.

Celtic soldiers: (pointing out of the scene) They are over there in that mountain!
Boudicca: Yeah, let’s go. James, don’t forget the cars I told you about.

James: Yeah, sure thing! I didn’t forget them

Neil: Come on guys, start moving the cars

(The Celtics nod and run out of the scene)

SCENE 6 (Both)

Gaius: Look over there; the Celtics are coming.

Julius Caesar: Don’t worry, we are prepared; just remember what I told you.

Diana and Cecilia: Yes!!!

(The Celtics enter the scene)

Boudicca: You fools, now in this mountain, and with the help of our cars, you won’t be
escaping again.

Julius Caesar and Boudicca: Attack!!!

(The Romans and the Celtics fight.)

Narrator: The Romans and the Celtics are fighting again, and as before, the Celtics are
winning.

Julius Caesar: Now!

(The Romans use the turtle formation.)

Prasutagus: What is this? They are invincible.

(The Romans kill Prasutagus.)

Boudicca: Oh no, my dear!

Gaius: Don’t let anyone alive.

Cecilia and Diana: FOR CYRUS!!!

(Cecilia and Diana kill the Celtic soldiers one by one.)

James: (Before being killed) Go away, my queen, go away!

(Boudicca goes out of scene)

Narrator: With all the Celtic warriors killed, the Romans claim victory.

Diana: What about Boudicca?

Julius Caesar: (Laughs) I already had that planned. Before she escaped, I hit her with a little
knife with poison, so trust me, she won’t last long.

(The Romans get out of scene, dragging the dead Celtic soldiers.)

SCENE 7 (Boudicca)

Boudicca: (Running) I managed to escape. Finally, wait a mom-

(Boudicca falls to the ground and dies.)
