 Population is the number of people who belong to the same group or species and live
in a particular geographical area.
 Commonly population is lead to collection of human beings
 Demography is the study of human population
 overpopulation means existing number of human population that exceeds the
carrying capacity of Earth
 India take second position in terms of population
 Mainly population depends upon the fertility, mortality and migration.

Cause of population explosion

 Uncontrolled population explosion may be responsible for causing the serious


problem in all aspects of societies
