INTRODUCTORY REMARKS

Preface

PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) already installed at more than
300 hospitals in Korea since 1999, approved by related local law and steadily keep
spreading out. The reason why many hospitals have been introducing PACS is that
they can give customer much better medical services and benefits, and every PACS
DICOM (Digital Image and Communication in Medicine) data in each hospitals should
comply with DICOM version 3.0 standard.
Following the Standard, it could easily be interchanged information and an image of
the patient, and making it easier to inquire and store them. In case the patient
wishes to change the hospital, it is provided with the patient information and
images with the film or the CD, which also should follow the standard

Please refer to this instruction manual when you have any question during your
using T-View™, and appreciate using CLiT PACS program.

with server computer. This trial version does not use other server. The PC running
this program is the server.

9 /75 Page
[Viewer Setting]

- [Search Interval] determines the search interval which worklist will use initially.
- [Maximum Tab number] sets maximum Exam number of showing in the monitor. If
the number of exam that the user selects will exceed this value, it will be eliminated
from the exam opened first. (First In, First Out)
- [Position]
T-View consists of TView.exe to show Exam information and TViewDisp.exe to print
out image to screen. In this dialogue, it sets the screen position of these two program.
If multi monitor being used, one monitor should be a base monitor to set the location,
you can figure out which one is a base monitor through click the right button of mouse
on desktop, choosing the “pRoperty”. (the coordinate value of base monitor is 0.0) In
case only one monitor being used, generally set up the same value to “TView Position”
and “TView Disp Position”.
(example) If the property on desktop is shown as bellows;
The computer recognizes that monitor#1 is at its left side and monitor#2 is at its right
side. So, if you move the mouse to monitor#1’s right end, it will appear at the left side
of monitor#2. What happens if you move monitor#2 to left side of monitor#1? The
result will be same, because the computer still recognize monitor#2 is located on
monitor#1’s right side. But, in this case, you’ll see the movement of mouse is not
natural between two monitors. If you want to see “TView” at monitor#1 and
“TViewDisp” at monitor#2, you should set the each values of two programs like this;

10 /75 Page
“TView Position”: [Left X Position: 0], [Width: 1024], [Height: 1280]
“TViewDisp Position”: [Left X Position:1024], [Width: 1024], [Height: 1280]

Position 0,0

And if you want to see “TView” at monitor#1 and “TViewDisp” at both monitor#1and#2,
need to set the values as bellows;
“TView Position”: [Left X Position: 0], [Width: 1024], [Height: 1280]
“TViewDisp Position”: [Left X Position:0], [Width: 2048], [Height: 1280]

We use big memory to download file. If your system has small memory, check
this option. Then PACS program will download file with small 1024 bytes memory.

[Self Dicom Server]

T-View PACS program has built-in Dicom Server. This part activate or

You should input port number which program uses. We propose you to use 104. If port
104 is used by another program, you can assign another port number which is not
used by other program.
