1. Explain social work practice with Portfolio containing:

2. Review of theories & perspectives


relevant to assessment & interventions in
working with individuals & families,
explain and analyze the problem solving
framework vis-à-vis the helping process
in working with individuals & families in
the Philippine context and apply the
problem solving framework in various
cases handled by social workers such as
children, women and special cases
(LGBTQR).

3. Internalize and practice the principle of


self-awareness and confidentiality in the
application of the problem solving
framework in the various cases, discuss
& illustrate the case management
process and identify the roles & functions
of social workers.

4. Recognize and examine the selected


cases of gender-based violence to
women & children and how the helping
process is applied and show respect to
feelings & behavior to clients with
gender-based issues.

5. Demonstrate beginning competencies in


working with individuals & families
utilizing the tools, techniques, principles,
problem-solving process and case
management and Internalize appropriate
behavior or attitude in the handling of
cases, e.g. patience, maturity, altruism,
etc.

6. Present a case study report of the cases


handled.
Course Policies Grading System
