-Language features-
1. Adverb : Adverb is to give time. There are 2 types of adverbs:
•> adverb of time indicates how long you have to do something. Example : in 10 minutes, for 1 hours.
•> Adverb of manner or an adverb of how to do something. Example : Slowly, Well, Evenly.

2. Connective : words/feelings that connect sentences or words so that they are continuous.
example : first, secondly, then, after, that, finally
“first wash the rice”

3. Imperative Sentence : an imperative sentence in a procedure text is a command or instruction that


tells someone to do something. example of a imperative sentence in procedure texts :
- add three onions and mix it well : this sentence uses the verb one "add" and does not include a
subject
4. Simple Present Tense : Simple present tense is a sentence form in English that it used to express
events that are routinely done repeatedly, facts or habits.

First Group
-Definisi of Procedure Text-

Procedure text that explains, informs or


helps the reader on how to make or use
something. Typically, this type of text
begins with the phrase "how to ..."
Second Group
-Purpose Procedure Text-
Procedure texts aims to make it easier for readers to do
something, whether making or doing something, using
methods and steps in the appropriate sequence.
Procedure texts are used to describe for one person what
that person what that person will create or achieve.

You can start by starting with understanding by reading the instructions


and carrying out the correct sequence. Text procedures teach us to use a
tool and make something or work.

-The Benefits or Usefulness of Procedural Text-
1. telling how to make something, for example procedural text can help us to know every step to
make or use something. for example we can know about how to make noodles and how to use
the tools.
2. makes it easier for us when creating or using a text procedure, can help us do or use things
more easily. for example, we can make cake with fewer ingredients
3. with procedural text, we can reduce errors when making or using something (tips and tricks)
procedural text can reduce failure got will or can happen when we are using/doing something.
for example procedural text can reduce failure when making things doing something, etc.
4. as a source of knowledge to make or use something correctly, so the procedure text can be
used us an any question meaning like, we know how to make food around the world, how to
make futuristic tools. for example, we can know how to make spaghetti from Italy, we can know
how to use a screen projector
5. direct someone to do something correctly. procedural text can be used as a guide to do
something more properly. for example, procedural text shows the step by step of using the lab
equipment.
