5. PROCEDURE: Artificial Intelligence, or “AI”, is driving the next wave of technological innovation and is changing
almost every industry around us.
Artificial Intelligence is the creation of machines to mimic human capabilities such as teaching a machine to see
(recognize objects in an image) and listen (interpret and analyses sounds). In a traditional computer program, our
algorithm tells the machine exactly what to do (step-by-step), whereas, in an AI program, the machine is
programmed to learn and make its own decisions. Artificial Intelligence is a broad term that covers a range of
specialisations and subsets, such as computer vision and natural language processing.
In this session, we shall discuss what intelligence is and how it impact us. The session will also touch upon an
important aspect of intelligence, the decision making. We shall be discussing about the difference types of
Intelligence. Basic knowledge about AI will be given to children through real life examples.
Introduction to AI: PPT will be shown to children for better understanding for content which consist of examples and
pictures of the devices and applications used.

1. Scenario 1- On Decision Making
 You are given the option of choosing one hamper out of the given three options.st has
sample papers of the upcoming exams; the 2nd has reference books and 3rd has free coaching
vouchers. Choose wisely and decide which option you would go with and why?
2. Scenario 2- Ethical issues related to AI ( Self-driving cars)
 Let us now assume that the car hit the boy who came in front of it. Considering this an
accident, who should be held responsible for it? Why?
1. The person who bought this car.
2. The Manufacturing Company.
3. The developer who developed the car’s algorithm.
4. The boy who came in front of the car and got severely injured.
