What Is Claim?
A claim is what the writer tries to prove in the text by
providing details, explanations, and other types of evidence.
As such, it is usually found in the introduction or in the first
few paragraphs of texts.
A claim is essentially a statement that takes a position and
tries to get the reader to accept it. It's more than just an
observation, and it's different from an opinion.
A claim truly is another way to refer to the central argument
or thesis statement of a text, especially in academic writing.

different activity to be done. Be guided by the rubrics.

point or argument (the claim) and look for sentences or details
in the passage that support the claim.

statements were categorized as claims or non-claims.
GROUP 3- Create short role-plays or skits about any scenario

script with claims and evidences.
Generalization
Claim is the most important part of the text because it serves
as the central point or main idea that the author is trying to
convey. It is the thesis or argument that the entire text
revolves around, providing direction and focus for the reader
It allows us to understand the main point the author is trying
