STUDENT GROUPS
THE CO-LEARNING PROCESS

The ultimate outcome of this co-learning process is the collection of multi-level

information to develop up to date research facilities and projects on Sustainable Chemical
Conversion of Energy at İTÜ (mainly experimental for 7 groups) or approaches/projects
(mainly modeling/CFD based for H2/B; mainly aerospace engineering design based for
H2/C1; mainly global engineering design and logistics based for H2/C2). In achieving this
outcome, students will also deepen their knowledge on combustion science and
technology, improve their co-learning / team-work abilities and their learning autonomy,
curiosity and creativity potential.

For the groups H2/A, SAF/A/B/D and SP/A/B/C, the task mainly consists of designing
R&D facilities in the concerned research areas.

Inspired by the co-learning tools developed by İTÜ-MEM, I suggest the following main
ingredients to be sollicited to attain the expected outcome, for all the 7 groups (I will use
the example of SP/B group to clarify the suggested approach).
