Period: July 2016 – Till Date

Project Description:

SPIDER is Anthem’s strategic system for creation and maintenance of product, plan and contract
data. It utilizes FJA product machine to configure products. Plan Configurator uses previously
created products to create plans, and Group Configurator LITE creates contracts using published
plans. Health care reforms (HCR) involves Validation of Benefits & product information of Health
plan from SPIDER system to its downstream systems like SBC, Exchange portal, Plan preview portal
and Shopper portal. The Project involves implementation of new products released into healthcare
market, validating the enhancements related to maintenance of product benefits and
implementation of new business rules and functionality proprietary to Anthem.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Manually testing the contracts and benefits from Spider tool


 Analyzing the defect and logging the issues to Defect management tool
 Analyze the business requirements and provided suggestions on the testing process to
business
 Responsible for maintaining the production report
 Responsible to create and maintaining the mapping document

Roles & Responsibilities

 Monitoring the availability and performance of the servers.


 Configuring and maintaining Weblogic Application Server on multiple platforms for both
horizontal and vertical scaling for Work Load Management.
 Deploying enterprise J2EE applications on WAS that involves EAR (Enterprise Archives)
and WAR (Web Archives).
 Managed the security and performance optimizations for EJB containers and web
applications.
 Deployed Enterprise Application through customized scripts and Administration console.
 Involved in troubleshooting and performance tuning of various reported incidents.
