Location
*Holmdel Park is located minutes off of the Garden State Park in Holmdel, NJ.
The Monmouth County Park System maintains the 500-acre park and the 5000
meter and 2-mile cross country courses. Both courses cover challenging hills
and well-maintained trails. The 5000-meter course features the infamous ‘Bowl’.
Races
• Varsity: There will be 6 Girls varsity races & 7 Boys varsity Races this year!
o Note: Teams MUST run a varsity team before entering a JV team.
• Junior Varsity: There will be 5 JV boys and 3 JV girls’ races.
• Freshmen: there will be 3 frosh boys and 2 frosh girls’ races.
Awards
• Team trophy for first place in each race
• Medals to top 30 in all races
• Medals to the top 3 teams in each race
Entries- MUST be completed ON-LINE- at Njmilesplit.com
• All on-line entries are due by Wednesday September 25th
• NO athletes will be ADDED after the entry deadline or the day of the event
• Please enter athletes into their correct division (Frosh/JV/Varsity)
o On race day> ANY athlete entered may run in ANY division
o You DO NOT need to notify us of any of these changes
o EXCEPT: only Freshman can run in the frosh race
o ALSO: Teams MUST run a varsity team before running a JV team.
• After on-line-entry is complete-PLEASE-Print invoice and give to AD for payment

• Please enter athletes into their correct division (Frosh/JV/Varsity)
o On race day> ANY athlete entered may run in ANY division
o You DO NOT need to notify us of any of these changes
o EXCEPT: only Frosh can run in the frosh race
• ALSO: All teams MUST run their top 5-7 athletes in a varsity race BEFORE they
can run anyone in a JV race. (ANY FRESHMAN may run in the FROSH race)
• Spectator shuttle and bus parking will be at Bell Works
o Bell Works is located at 101 Crawford’s Corner Rd, Holmdel NJ 07733
• NO SPECTATOR PARKING at Holmdel Park or on local streets
o Handicap parking is permitted in the park
o ALL spectators must park at BELL WORKS and take the
FREE shuttle to and from the park. (Follow parking signs)
• DO NOT PARK on the streets in & around Holmdel Park. Violators will be
ticketed and towed. The STCA will not be responsible for any parking
violations by spectators or coaches.
• DO NOT have athletes/spectators dropped off or picked up at the entrance to
the park. ALL Drop-off & Pick-up are at BELL WORKS.
• Please Check: www.shorecoaches.com for updates to the time schedule &
race day assignments. We will try to get this info up on njmilesplit, and other
sites but it is the responsibility of the coach to check for updates & race
assignments……
• NO CHANGES will be made to the race assignments once published!!!
