How do I set up Scan to Folder?

First, confirm the IP address of your device. To do this, follow these steps:

[-] Confirming the IP address of your device

Note: When [User Authentication Management] is set, a valid user name and password must be entered
perform the operation. For details about user authentication, consult your administrator.

1. On the operation panel of your device, press the [User Tools/Counter] key.

2. Press [System Settings].

3. Press the [Interface Settings] tab, and then press [Network]. Next, press [IP Address].

4. Your device's IP address is displayed. Press [OK] once you have made a note of it.

3. Click [Network and Internet Connections], and then click [Network Connections].

4. Right-click [Local Area Connection], and then click [Properties].

Next, update your device via Web Image Monitor. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start your web browser, and enter your device's IP address in the browser's address bar.

2. Web Image Monitor opens in the browser. Log in to enter Administrator Mode if necessary.

Once you are in Administrator Mode in Web Image Monitor, click [Address Book].

3. Click [Add User].

4. Enter the name, key display, protocol (SMB default), path, user name, and password.

User name and password are the user name and password used on your computer. (Note: if your user name
passwords change regularly, you may want to add a new user to the computer with a non-expiring password.)

Path is the path to the folder, taking the form:

• \\IP address or computer name\folder

For example:

• \\accounting_computer\timesheets
