Assignment: Give the meaning/definition of the

following:

1 .)TECHNOLOGY- the application of scientific


knowledge for practical purpose, especially in industry.
2.)ICT LITERACY- describes a learners ability to "adopt,

services". This refers to a learner's ability to navigate
the technical requirements of being an online

4.) EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY- is the field of study

learning.

programs used to operate computers and execute
specific tasks.

12.) MULTIMEDIA- is the use of a computer to present


and combine text, graphics, audio, and video with links
and tools that let the user navigate, interact, create,
and communicate.

13.) INTERNET- a global computer network providing a


variety of information and communication facilities,
consisting of interconnected networks using
standardized communication protocols.
14.) WORLD WIDE WEB- an information system on the
internet which allows documents to be connected to
other documents by hypertext links enabling the user
to search for information by moving from one
document to another.

15.) WEB ACCESS- is a browser-based software package


for human-machine interfaces HMI, and supervisory
control and data acquisition SCADA.

16.) WEB QUEST- is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in


which most or all the information that leaners work
with comes from the web.

17.) PRODUCTIVITY TOOLS- are software designed to


simplify tasks, streamline workflow, and often include
features that allow you to access documents quickly,
creates charts and graphs to visualize project planning,
progress, etc., and collaborate with other people.

18.) TECHNOLOGY TOOL- an electronic, digital or


physical tool that can expand the human ability for
performing tasks or generating products.
19.) BLOG- is a frequently updated web page used for
personal commentary of business content. Blogs are
often interactive and include sections at the bottom of
individual blog posts where readers can leave
comments.
20.) WIKI- is a web-based collaborative platform that
enables users to store, create, and modify content in an

where students are introduced to connect at home and
practice working through at it school.

comprehension of complex texts that are both
conversational and formal, and the corresponding
transcripts enable students to confirm their success.

23 .) GOOGLE CLASS- is a free blended learning platform


developed by Google for educational institutions that
aims to simplify creating, creating, distributing, and
grading assignments.
24.) VLOG- a personal website or social media account
where a person regularly posts short videos.

23.) FACEBOOK- is a website which allows users, who


sign-up for free profiles, to connect with friends work
colleagues or people they do not know online.

24.) VOICEOVER INTERNET PROTOCOL- is a method and


group of technologies for the delivery of voice
communications and multimedia sessions over Internet
Protocol networks, such as the Internet.
