between applications software

are the advantages and
disadvantages of this type of use of a
simulator?
Complete the table below to show
your ideas.
A new medical doctor is training to be an accident and emergency medic
using virtual-reality equipment that simulates a wide range of medical
scenarios that they may encounter. The trainee doctor could encounter
anything from a broken bone to a life-threatening situation such as a heart
attack. They need to be able to react correctly in all situations to help all
patients.
The equipment is fully immersive, meaning that the trainee is completely
involved in the simulator through the use of a virtual-reality helmet, suit and
gloves. All this allows them to be exposed to and learn how to deal with a
range of situations; all in a controlled, safe environment.

• Other doctors don't need to do anything.


Advantages

The robot will help new doctors become more

experienced ones.

The robot has perseverance, it will take out the

shortcomings that new people lack and turn it

into their advantages....

• The robot is of course not human, but its brain


Disadvantages

is made from HUMANS, so it cannot know the

knowledge and experience of operations from

mild to severe.

-If the robot only gives advice but doesn't say it

well, new people won't be interested in it
