COURSE TITLE: INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION SYSTEM

QUESTION 1: Do some research and obtain the rate of growth of Internet example
number of computers connected to the internet, number of internet websites etc
Use plotting capability of your spreadsheet to produce a bar chart of years.

The internet, since it’s early invention in 1983 has been a huge innovation and
success. It has even become a part of our everyday lives and is even more recently,
connected to our everyday devices in a web called the Internet of Things(IoT). The
explosion in the popularity and usage of the internet came just after a few years of
it’s inception. It’s reach and connectivity however in the different regions of the
world. Western powers like the US and South Korea higher connected persons to the
internet relative to the population of their countries.

QUESTION 2: Go to an internet search engine example yahoo and find any
company of your choice. Write a report that summarizes the size of the company,
number of employees , its products and location of its headquarters and its profit
and loss for last year. Would you like to work with this company?

The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney (/ˈdɪzni/) is an American
diversified multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate
headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios complex in Burbank, California.
The Walt Disney is one of the hugest entertainment companies in the world, if not
the hugest. They currently rank 150th in the Fortune 500 list. It also serves as a huge
job creation company as they currently have 223,000 employees across all divisions.
They have over 9,000 products ranging from tangible goods to digital content
such as toys, apparels, home goods, digital games, apps, etc. Their headquarters
are in Burbank, California.
They made a gross profit of 65 billion dollars but ultimately had 2.86 billion dollar
net loss, a 125% decline from the previous year.
I would still however love to work with The Walt Disney company because of the
impact it has had on me and the impact it will have on generations to come.
QUESTION 3: Create a table that lists all the courses you are taking in the first
column, other columns should be weeks of the semester/quarter such as week1,
week2. The body of the table should contain actual assignments quizzes for each
course. Create the table into a database for the first 3 weeks and print the result.
Create another table in the database for hardest classes for all the weeks and print
result.

African country and Britain . What broad criteria will you use for your evaluation?
