technologies and tools, including:

Computers and Hardware:

01 This includes desktop computers, laptops, servers, storage devices,
networking equipment (routers, switches, etc.), and peripherals like printers
and scanners.

Software:
02 Software applications and systems enable various tasks and functions,
such as operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), productivity suites
(Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), enterprise resource planning (ERP)
systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and
specialized industry-specific applications.
Networks and Telecommunications:
03 This includes the infrastructure and technologies used for communication
and data transmission, such as wired and wireless networks, internet
protocols (TCP/IP), routers, switches, modems, and telecommunications
systems (mobile networks, landlines).
ICT encompasses a wide range of
technologies and tools, including:
Internet and Web Technologies:
04 Technologies related to the internet and the World Wide Web, including web development tools, web browsers,
web servers, internet protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), and online services (email, social media, cloud computing).

Data Management and Information

05 Systems:
Technologies and systems used for storing, organizing, and managing data, including databases (SQL,
NoSQL), data warehouses, data mining and analytics tools, and information management systems.

Networks and Multimedia and

06 Audiovisual Technologies::
Technologies for creating, processing, and transmitting multimedia content, such as digital cameras, audio
and video recording equipment, editing software, streaming technologies, and virtual reality (VR) and
augmented reality (AR) systems.

you have browsed.
Activity 1 shows the different websites in World
Wide Web. The behavior and characteristics of a
website depends on what version of the
development of WWW it was created.
World Wide Web

W3 introduce by Tim Berners-
Lee. It consists of different
pages that are formatted in a
markup language called
05
HTML (Hypertext Markup
Language) and linked to
each other that contain text,
graphics, multimedia files,
hyperlinks and etc
Web 1.0
The first development of
World Wide Web where web
pages are static. It also

What is the importance of ICT in your life as a

student?
Information and communication technologies are fast,
automated, interactive, and rapidly changing. They
support the communication and representation of
knowledge to many audiences. They transform the ways
that students think and learn and give them greater
control over how, where, and when they learn.
